Indeed! Keep an eye out for where the edges of things seem... slightly misaligned

[they began to travel, looking closely around areas that would maybe have a weak spot, then he found one, hidden away in his very own castles basement.]

"There it is.. do I just enter it?"

All you need is to find a place where the timeline is weak and one can pass between! There are many such places, but they are rather invisible to the eye... but if you're determined, you'll find one pretty easily.

“I see.. well then dear messenger, let us go find where the timeline is weak.”

Ah, but he is alone. And will be far easier to find, his Spire the only intact building left in his home, and his doors forever open...

"How would I even get there?"

Ah, but there is another out there. Other timelines. Other Shadow Milks. Other Soul Jams. I know of one who could likely be quite easily fooled. One who would greet you as a friend, none-the-wiser. The only issue would be his little cakehound...

“Is that so? Id rather search for the Soul jam of my own milk.”

[He began his way to the old spire]

Well, your Soul Jam used to be one with that of another. Why choose between Truth and Deceit when you can have both? The power of Knowledge?

“I killed my shadow milk. I do not know where she hid the soul jam though.”

There is another Cookie, wandering around. Quiet and wary, and clearly alert, but not dressed well for blending into these surroundings.

[They perk up, ears twitching as the stalk the other cookie, coming up from behind]

“You. What are you doing here.”

[plush-chimera]

That gets them to turn around, clearly ready for a fight! "Looking around. What are you doing here."

“Im hiding out here. This place is supposed to be secret. How did you find it.”

[plush-chimera]

"I walked here. From the valley."

[cookiesofapathy]

[They relax slightly as Fog surrounds the two. before walking to gather fire wood]

“Well, you might as well stay. Not like you have much of a choice. The fog here is thick it protects and usually doesn’t let you out, you’ll have to wait it out.”

[plush-chimera]

"Ah. I see." She moves to follow them. Might as well learn what she can while it's trapped here.

[He Walks to what looks like a small hut and campfire.]

“Make yourself at home I suppose. Just don’t mess anything up.”

They just nod, following along. Their tail hisses, once, then it's back to silence

[They add wood into the fire. It crackles and grows slightly bigger]

“You hungry?”

[cookiesofapathy]

Well, they trust you to protect them, yes? You must make sure your kingdom is impenetrable. Could you not do that with more power? There is a way to double the strength of your Soul Jam, after all...

"Double the strenght of my soul jam? I did not think that was possible, tell me how."

There is another Cookie, wandering around. Quiet and wary, and clearly alert, but not dressed well for blending into these surroundings.

“You. What are you doing here.”

“Well, you might as well stay. Not like you have much of a choice. The fog here is thick it protects and usually doesn’t let you out, you’ll have to wait it out.”

As Nilla travels, an unexpected storm breaks loose, pouring heavy rain and thunder down from above. The air shuddering, as though the world is laughing or perhaps holding its breath...

... and at what is surely the peak of the storm, there is a terrifyingly loud crunch from above, a crack forming in the sky! The sounds of ancient screams can be heard as red light seeps out, gravity forgetting how to behave as the crevice widens, revealing a crimson sky behind. Scarlet stars and sanguine lightning visible within, alongside a tumbling white feather floating from somewhere... everything around not held down by nails or roots is floating, and seems to be vaguely in the direction of this Rift

[He looks around before drifting his gaze up, his eyes widened]

“What- what is happening?”

[A drop of sugar sweat runs down his face]

“That’s worrying.”

[feathered-dough]

It certainly is! The Rift almost seems to be breathing? Drawing everything in ever so slowly before it's all pushed back slightly, then being drawn in once more. Hey, wait, is there someone in there...?

[He attempts to get a closer look but gets hit by a floating object]

“ow-“

[feathered-dough]

And he's in the air, suddenly and without warning! Being pulled towards the Rift by forces unseen!

[He yelps as he’s dragged into the rift, he grips his staff tightly in one hand before trying to grab onto something with the other one]

[feathered-dough]

But he's quickly pulled away from the ground, even the trees slipping away from his grasp, as he's thrust into a world of red and sanguine stars, crimson and scarlet lightning. No land visible, except through the Rift's opening, the sound of a startled squeak nearby. Feathers are rustling behind him...

[He tries to point his staff defensively in the direction of the squeak]

“Who’s there?!”

[He demands an answer]

The thing behind him is about the size of an adult Cookie, if you take away the wings and tail. It's fluttering them as though it almost doesn't quite know what to do with them, looking like it got thrown off balance when Nilla got pulled into the Rift

[He moved away from the cookie, taking up a defensive pose]

“Why did you bring me here.”

You could be so much more powerful, Pure Vanilla... so much more capable... the world is dangerous. Wouldn't you want to be more able to keep your citizens unharmed by its thorns?

"Is that.. possible? to keep them unharmed. how would I manage that? tell me."
