We didn’t post yesterday
Let’s backtrack a little bit, Monday we got to go to the hall with the whale in it. I loved it because I love marine life, super into it. 10/10 would recommend. After that we went to lunch and I ate a falafel wrap. Then we got to go the library and Tom and Mai showed us the cool old books that no one gets to see. I love how excited they are about everything. They’re super fun. We got to see how the pictures in the books were printed and we learned that they were all colored by hand. Flash forward to today. In the morning Leah taught us a lot about NAGPRA, she’s a smart lady. Then we talked about our presentation and how we’re going to do that whole jazz and I’m still trying to work it out in my head. Then we had lunch at The Meatball Shop and I really liked it, I’m still full. When we got back we met with Adam Watson and he showed us a lot of awesome artifacts from the Pueblos in south western USA and there were a ton of really old awesome stuff that he knew a lot of background info on. I love how passionate people are here.
