Polica is a relatively new find for me, and seeing them live cemented their status as one of my new favorite groups so far this year. This track "Lay Your Cards Out" gives a great sense of their evocative sound, beautiful vocals and a wicked rhythm section building to a great ending. Enjoy!
After seeing him again at Coachella there is no denying it, James Blake is a genius. I can't wait to get the new album, check out this beautiful video for the gorgeous "Retrograde."
Robert Glasper makes great late night listening, and with Erykah Badu here on "Afro Blue" how can you not feel relaxed? Definitely one of the best shows I saw at SXSW, Glasper is a genius musician and arranger.

So might as well share some of the great artists I saw down in Austin, starting with the beautiful sounds of producer extraordinaire Bonobo. A very well produced and fitting video accompanies his track "Cirrus" off his impeccable North Borders album. Check it out.
M83 makes beautiful music, inspiring people in all sorts of ways. Like this amazing set of visuals for their track "We Own the Sky." So good.

"Look at Stars" is an older SBTRKT tune that I like as much as their tracks from their full length. They were one of my favorite new musical discoveries last year, check em out.

Remember Clinic? Well they're still around even if you don't. "Come Into Our Room" was always a favorite track of mine, off probably their best album walking with Thee. Granted I haven't listened to their newest stuff, guess I will soon cause I found out recently they're coming to Nashville so I will finally see them. Sweet.

Atoms for Peace is Thom Yorke's solo project featuring Nigel Godrich and Flea, you can stream their whole album AMOK coming out later this month on stereogum right now for free. It's a damn good listen.
Foals rock, very pleased to see they have a new album that just came out. Hard to beat this first tune off their last album, "Blue Blood" soars through the listener. A beautiful and powerful listen, I hope you enjoy.
