claire in her NCR dress browns

claire is originally from the shady sands area and the vast majority of her family served in the NCR military, so naturally she was expected to do so as well.

after boot camp she quickly made her way into first recon with exemplary perception and marksmanship, since she'd been shooting since she could hold a rifle.

she served with boone and manny (theyre around the same age) and was present for the bitter springs massacre. her vantage point on coyote tail ridge meant she was one of the first to see that it was children and civilians fleeing from their exit point and radioed ahead to command telling them they needed to stand down.

when she was told to shoot until she was out of ammo, for the first time claire decided to disobey her co and make a choice for herself. she threw her weapon down and refused to comply, desperately trying to convince her platoon to do the same.

even after the extent of the massacre was revealed claire was charged with desertion and dishonorably discharged. (she was lucky to avoid prison time, but the circumstances allowed her to slip through and take a lesser punishment.) which is why she ends up going into courier work, traveling back and forth between the NCR proper and nevada.

seeing boone again in novac is a big thing for her. he gave her a new first recon beret, after she lost hers.

🍁 - Their favourite season and why?

johnny likes fall and winter cause it reminds him of being home. especially when he gets to be up north

starboy is probably of a similar mindset but he can deal with the muggy heat a little better, being trained in the more muggy florida seasons 🎳 - Do they have hobbies? If yes, what are they? johnny i think makes a lot of his own gear other than the leather jackets which he will still add details to. so, sewing, recreational drugs, and hed probably count exercise even though its his career to seem less sad about having no hobbies. probably reignites his love for comics and cartoons though later in life through mankind

starboy i think draws and like slams his head through glass windows idk. probably also loves working out. video games with the usos. i think he would probably also be engaging in prank wars with them if you count planning more and more elaborate pranks on the road as a hobby
