A little excerpt of my weaving process featuring Caleb Schaffer hard at work on the loom. The lower middle picture also shows just one of the many troubles I encountered with my first time weaving. The warp yarn broke, yarns got tangled, pattern complications and many more... This was a problem solving process to say the least.

Most of this color has not even been beamed through yet in these images shown. The splashes, fades, and gradations of indigo vary through experimental ikat dye processes throughout the warp of this cloth.  This cloth is designed to mimic the waves and shores of coasts I have lived and traveled to. Weaving memories of place.  This cloth is meant to be a site specific installation, as most of my textiles are.
