i am becoming an uncle boonmee who can recall his past lives evangelist. it is required viewing (to be fair, i just watched it for the first time a week or two ago, but the point still stands). you will cry, you will laugh, you will contemplate mortality and the mystery of life and death, you will be enchanted and haunted, and it will leave you feeling simultaneously hollow and nourished. couldn’t recommend it more
