I definitely enjoy painting! That's never been a question but at the same time yk sometimes painting can be a bit torturous, so it's a love-hate relationship. But the process of painting itself and the satisfaction of seeing the finished product are definitely there! So I would say that although it can be tough sometimes, seeing that people enjoy it and being able to paint what I love makes me enjoy painting!

HOLY SHIT I completely forgot about her I've been way too busy fixating over the pirates lately I'm sorry💔✌️

I don't know if I've ever talked about this part of the lore before, but basically in this world research organizations are pretty much allowed to do whatever they want because the average moral standards are not exactly high

So that's where Rowan—the lab goat—comes in! She's a product of Grace's research organization. (Grace is the head of the organization and occasionally takes part in the research herself, but since this ask is about Rowan, I won't ramble too much about her...)

The organization itself is pretty inhumane, so they don't really care about their creations at all

Growing up in that environment, Rowan naturally ended up treating the only adult around with authority—Grace—as someone to rely on, since Grace was one of the main researchers involved in her experiments.

The problem is Grace doesn't really care about her!

So she's like a desperate little kid constantly trying to earn the attention of someone who's never going to give it to her. Rowan also ends up being really obedient without even realizing it because she wants Grace's approval so badly. Grace doesn't really have much of a problem with her because of that, although she's still pretty cold. But tbf that's just how she treats all of the test subjects.

I still haven't completely figured Rowan's story out yet, though. It started out because I wanted to explore toxic dynamic, so once I flesh things out a bit more I'll definitely post more about her...🤤🤤
