    Her curiosity was at its pique. There were more opportunities arise and if there came a new gem, there came a chance to produce those said gems. More travels meant more business to grow their empire. In Yellow's mind, that was the chance to come. For Blue, it simply meant ... more.

    The mimicked voices were perfect. A Sapphire ... a Ruby ... Yellow ... and a Pearl.

    The comment caught her off guard, prompting a soft chuckle from her. "Oh, no need to clamp your mouth, I found it humorous. I know it would be ... different, but she does have a way with her words doesn't she?"

Coral feared the worst when she heard her own diamond's voice come out of her. She set out her own personal rule to never, ever EVER mimic the diamonds! She didn't know what the consequences would be if she ever tried, but--

She paused in mid thoughts hearing the soft chuckle from Blue Diamond above. Coral... couldn't help but find herself staring to see how elegant and... very pretty of how Blue looked with a smile.

Though when addressed again, Coral tried to wave away the small blush that was creeping up on her face as she twiddled her fingers in her hair cutely.

       ❝ Y-yes, she does... at times... bu-but I can't really say. ❞

Yellow sighed, as the smaller Diamond left the room. It's the exact sort of nonchalance getting on her nerves lately.

Surely, Pink's first attempts at gem production weren't perfect. She couldn't help but notice the complaints, the excuses for the often-empty chair at the command center lately. A colony did not simply run itself. If she could pinpoint some evidence, a claim to how Pink should be more careful with her work from now on, they'd have a reasonable talk.

When the Amethyst finally addressed her, she raised a brow, an expressive line tugging at one corner of her mouth. Yes, 'examine', isn't that what she just said?

The Diamond knelt down carefully, extending an open palm to the floor, "Over here."

She beckoned a few times, waiting patiently for the tiny, purple gem to step into her hand. The Amethyst seemed standard enough from a distance… but her luminous, expert eyes would tell her the true quality of this mineral.

'Amethyst' gave a small gups but held herself in character as she moved into the larger diamond's hand. She remembered how around the kindergarten she heard rumors about how the other diamonds were and what they would be like.

Being from earth, Pink's colony was different than from the rest of homeworld. Sure they all acted the same but they were away from their original home so adaption to homeworld was different.

Many rumors speculated Yellow Diamond to be tough, hardcore and quite ruthless when angered. Overall, the wrong diamond to ever make angry, let alone cross.

Still... didn't stop the 'quartz' gem from feeling uncomfortable about how the diamond was eyeing her gem.

Yellow half-circled around to face Pink Diamond and her purple escort, a gem presumably from the latest batch. The visible lines beneath her eyes crinkled slightly, as she cast her critical look down at this specimen.

"Hm. Probably, the best one that I've seen," she muttered at last. Pink must have been proud of her first colony, enough to show off the spoils already. But there was always room for improvement.

"Why don't you leave your Amethyst here? I'll examine her for imperfections and offer you my suggestions."

The Diamond stood taller, insistent. Although Pink seemed almost determined to pull her off-task, her shoulders bristled at the thought of White. It was often in Yellow's best interest to act as the uncompromising errand-gem, for all of their sakes.

"You should go. I can't keep her waiting forever.

Pink resisted the urge to shudder knowing EXACTLY who the older diamond was talking about. She didn't want to go alone and leave her rare gem alone with Yellow, but protesting and leaving White waiting would just make things worse.

She was doing her job well for once and didn't want to screw it up.

       ❝ Right... you'll be good for Yellow while I'm gone. Understand? ❞

       ❝ Yes, my diamond. ❞

Leaving the room with a 'Later Yellow' and wave, Pink Diamond left her room with her pearl waiting outside. The smile from the 'Amethyst' turned neutral before she turned to the larger diamond left in the room.

       ❝ You wann-eh wish to examine me? ❞

It took all the guts for Coral to do this.

She remembered practicing different dances with her earth friends, but to ask a gem to dance... let alone a diamond?! She's never tried to take such a step before.

She gulped before seeing her chance. The music was playing a soothing dance song which she figured would be relatable to Blue. With a gesture and a bow, she offered her hand (trying to ignore she was doing it in front of others) to Blue, nodding to answer and hoping she would accept...

... and she did!

Coral couldn't believe it!

Moving along with Blue to the dance floor, she remembered her practicing in ballroom dances and tries to lead while moving in Blue's pace. She did her best to twirl the diamond and moved with her rhythmically. She was nervous... nervous wasn't ever in her vocabulary! But being around Blue... made her feel things.

       ❝ Yes... I've studied quite a bit while being on earth. They have some interesting dances throughout the centuries. ❞

The warp chimed from the other room.

"Pink?"

The arriving gem had a stern voice. Distinctively, it was Yellow Diamond's, followed by the sound of her enormous footsteps down the hall.

"Pink, are you here?"

Yellow's presence slowed to a towering halt just outside of the room. In the heavy silence that followed, the Diamond hoped to express she was not so keen on being locked out. Perhaps, Pink should come to her senses and open up.

In the meantime, there was a slightly muffled movement of stiff fabric, as Yellow bent to examine something. "Why have you left your Pearl? What did I tell you about leaving your things everywhere? Why have you—"

In a sharp breath, she returned to the point. "Whatever. You said you wouldn't be long, so what's taking you?"

The moment Pink heard Yellow's voice, the smallest diamond hit her head from the secret storage she opened thanks to her pebbles. She hushed them and rushed them to close it back before turning around to see... not Coral standing there!

She was about to ask before turning to see the stern diamond in question and gave an awkward greeting.

       ❝ Yellllooowwwww! What . A . Suur-prise! I was just on my way! No need to worry so much. I have my amethyst with me, see? ❞

The 'Amethyst' immediately gave the diamond salute to the superior gem as soon as she entered the room. She held a crooked grin, inwardly steadying her nerves. She didn't expect seeing another diamond so suddenly!

A Golden Encounter || @star-conqueror

The large pink doors slid open before the two beings walked inside while Pearl awaited on the outside as ordered. The small ruby then shapeshifted back into her normal form once the coast was clear.

Coral looked to her diamond who seemed to have a bit of a bittersweet smile on her face as the leader looked around as if reminiscing... but with a sadden look.

       ❝ My diamond? ❞

Hearing her gem, Pink immediately turned to Coral with a cover up smile and waved away whatever concern the spy had.

       ❝ Oh, don't worry. Everything's fine. Just thought I'd come for old time sake. Here... let me show you something. ❞

At the come-hither motion, Coral decide for best interest to push her inward questions aside for her diamond and followed along as Pink tried to feel the wall as if looking for something.

She had full intentions to be as modest as she could be when speaking to Coral. Aside from the heavy peer pressure from White Diamond, this was ... an honor. Truly, it was. She felt a sense of wonder and awe to speak to a fresh, new gem with a wonderful purpose.

While Pink was gone for a moment's time, she wished to know a little more about Coral. What was she like? What else could she do?

"I see ... and that is expected. Mimicry of weapons can only last for so long," she muttered. "With your abilities to perfectly replicate forms ... what else is there to your abilities. Can you mimic voices, perhaps? I'd like to know what else you can do."

Coral took a moment and blinked. She hadn't been able to test the limits of her full abilities yet. Not even to her diamond outside of what she requested. But she knows Pink Diamond wants to have a good relationship with her fellow leaders and Coral will do anything she can to make a good impression.

       ❝ I never tried... but I can see... ❞

Grasping at her throat, Coral concentrated on the voices she remembered since her emerging in the kindergarten. As she reflected, her mouth moved and the sounds of random gems were vocal for Blue Diamond to here.

       ❝ I've foreseen--get moving! our orders were-- looks like this side of the planet is complete--you're welcome, my diamond-- ❞

For a minute, Coral seemed to be diving deep with every new voice she spoke and continued until...

       ❝-memeber to make a good impression. Especially with Yellow the snobby- ❞

At the sound of her diamond's voice, Coral immediately clapped her mouth shut with her hands before daring to look at Blue Diamond, fearfully!

I could definitely see Spinel being jealous of the fact Coral got to live a life on Earth and that she wasn't just stuck in place like she was. Also in my verse/blog, Spinel refused the diamond's offer, so i feel like that would be an important aspect to consider for Onyx

Coral: Coral is one of Pink's younger creations and one of the first on earth. Despite her vast knowledge of Earth throughout history, she still lacks knowledge of creations from Homeworld, outside the diamonds. Pink never mentions Spinel once during her time on Earth though mentions of a 'friend' she left behind once and Coral questions if that connects to Spinel. When Spinel came to Earth, Coral was there with the gems to help evacuate Beach City and helped repair Little Homeworld. Coral would probably meet Spinel through the Diamonds based on her romantic relationship with Blue Diamond. Coral would be indifferent to Spinel. On one hand, she acknowledged that Pink was beyond wrong of leaving the poor gem behind. On the other hand, she attacked earth and almost killed Steven. She's wants to know Spinel better but is weary of her. So long as she doesn't harm the crystal gems or the diamonds (ESPECIALLY BLUE), she could see herself knowing Spinel on a better level from pink gem to pink gem.

Onyx: Onyx is the ex-executioner for White Diamond and has lost her purpose after the gem war came to an end. Like Jasper, she wanders around finding a new purpose while disconnecting with her diamond all together. She was around when Spinel attacked Earth and secretly helped those of Beach City. She did witness the moment where Spinel met the diamonds and was envious of how easy White Diamond took to her. She doesn't see Spinel as a physical threat as she could shatter the gem at an instant if she wanted. But now she's favored by White and had mixed feelings. Either way, she would keep an eye on Pink Diamond's old toy.
