This is for you, @little-merigold ! I hope you’ll feel better very soon! 🥰
I re-watched the first episode of Anne with an E for inspiration for this little illustration and now I’m full-on binge watching it 😂
Anne x Gilbert moodboard
"It always has been and always will be, you."
I read once that a daughter is a little girl who grows up to be a friend.
A patient Anne, waiting for Gilbert on a crisp fall day. I love Anne with an E!! To fill the hole that Netflix and the CBC have created, I think I will paint a few more pictures inspired by the show.
This art is my own, so let me know if you use it please!
Anne through the seasons!
Season three warranted two drawings, also posted on my instagram "sketch.paint.sew" hence the water mark.
Their first and last words to each other.
Ahead by a Century is a straight up bop and no one can fight me on this
Can you believe this is the only Gilbert and Cole interaction? We were robbed.

As soon as he arrives in Toronto, Gilbert sends a telegram to Bash.
Soon followed by Bash’s mother asking, “what did you win?”
Jerry Baynard is smart
I understand that they were trying show that Diana and Jerry aren’t on the same level intellectually when they were talking about the Frankenstein, but the boy deserves so much more credit. Jerry doesn’t go to school, learned how to read just about a year ago and was able to understand a full on novel in his SECOND LANGUAGE. Of course he’s not going to pick up on every bit of symbolism. He should be incredibly proud of himself for his progress and it just makes me sad that he felt so inferior to Diana.
