They really weren’t lying about this season being more creative cinematically. It was beautiful but I felt it needed more quiet moments to just be with the characters.

Why the fuck did Jeremy Allen white keep calling this season joyful??
I cried almost every episode and have never been more stressed.
really love dynamics that are like 'it honestly doesn't matter if you view them as romantic or platonic, the point is that they love each other. the type of love is inconsequential, all that matters is that it's there'. gotta be one of my favorite genders.
JATP content is everywhere and it’s actually crazy. Like this show was everything to me when it came out. But now it’s been FOUR YEARS, if I am led to believe it’s coming back and let down again I’m gonna scream at everyone that gave me hope.
In reality I don’t think they’ll make another season since so much time has passed but I think they might make new music or announce a few performances.
sydcarmy edits kept coming up on my feed and I just noticed something that really gets me about this moment. There is literally a way to communicate in a kitchen "someone is behind you, watch out" that they probably use all the time. He could have easily been like "behind" , but it's not that type of setting at all. They're in his apartment, he's really going out his way to create an environment completely different than they're used to being in. It's more of a bonding experience than a workshop of ideas.
Writers of Lessons in Chemistry better sleep with one eye open.
I am ANGERED.
I saw clips of this show and thought it would be cute and fun about cooking and science with a little romance. Yet I’ve only been TRAUMATIZED.
I literally thought this was based off of a real story and thought wow this is such a tragic story.
I looked it up and it’s NOT.
The author just thought it would be a cool plot point to build a strong, beautiful, healthy relationship and then destroy into tiny little pieces.
THE BEAR (2.09)
It’s crazy how he decides to cut the tension by giving her an incredibly thoughtful gift.
The way Carmy and Syd always say “it’s something” when they think a dish has great potential. Imagine one of them saying “it’s something” when referring to the two of them together.
Did something happen to the actor who plays Richie on Rise of the pink ladies??
In the eighth episode we only see the back of his head or his face cgi’d onto someone else’s body.
Someone please explain
LIKE WHAT IS THAT??

I watched 20th century girl. I heard a lot of people compare it to 2521 when it first came out so I put off watching it because I could not take the emotional damage.
Now that I’ve seen it, I think it was really different than what I expected. It was really cute and funny, the plot twist got me good. I did cry throughout the movie. Nowhere near as painful as 2521 for me though.
Ronald from Jury duty is actually my favourite person ever
Watching 2521 again. I keep randomly tearing up and we’re only in the early episodes. I don’t know why I do this to myself.
Also, anyone else notice that they updated the translations? I remember specific lines from the show and they’re different now.
update: I can confirm watching it a second time does not hurt any less and you will cry throughout the entirety of the finale. Also the new translations can sometimes be disappointing, they’ve changed a few beloved lines. Other than that, the show is still beautiful, I’ll probably torture myself again by watching it another time in the future

I love how the seeds for ep 7 of the bear have been planted in every previous episode so when that clusterfuck happens and keeps happening and keeps getting worse and everyone is shouting you know from the start that it is inevitable, it's the grease fire. You know Carmy was going to snap and Syd would reach her limit, you saw Marcus obsessing over the donut for the past four episodes powered by Syd and Carmy's initial approval and his own newfound desire for creative invention, you saw the tension between Syd and Richie, how Richie always works against the new direction of the restaurant. opening to customers has felt like a hard won miracle at every episode, even when the team managed to work together. Carmy was always going to snap but everything around him has been set up to trigger the worst possible scenario, it's just really good television and it doesn't ever make you think that it's an obstacle that was put there just to have a final season conflict
The Bear is honestly the most refreshing and well-rounded show I’ve seen in really a long time. It is beautiful chaos. The little moments that show the passion different characters have for their work, and the smiles from gaining respect and support from each other is what makes this show amazing.
Just finished The Bear (2022)
