Twister With A Twist đ

âHumans vs Zombies?â she asked her head tilting a bit, she had an idea of what it was, but she had never done that and wanât to make sure she understood. âThat sounds like a bloody lot of fun. I wish my uni had done something like that. NowâQuidditch on the other hand? Iâve done a lot of that.â she said smirking, she was a big potter fan and really loved playing quidditch with her friends. âWhat position did you play?â she asked smiling brightly at the other woman. She was adoring their conversation.
âI could have gone with bloody hellâbut damn felt a but more authentic in that moment.â she chuckled winking playfully at the girl. The bite on her lips sent shivers up her spine, it was somehow cuteâand horribly sexual, and she loved it. Whe Cordelia released her, the corner of her mouth twitched upwards. âWell thank you, youâre just sexy in general.â she teased. Her eyes searched the other womanâs face, looking to understand and take in every detail of the other woman. âIt is, It truly is what its for.â she said smiling through the kiss. âMy favorite color? Probably red. I mean, honestly I like all colors, but red is so rich, so strongâŠits soâyeah.â she trailed off and smiled. âFlower wise, Iâd say its some form of a lily. I really like calla lilies. Theyâre just so prettyâthey can be all the colors of the rainbow and theyâre so elegant.â
She pursed her lips and gave the girl her best sassy face. âIâm confident in my dating ability.â she shrugged. And it was true, she figuredâif someone didnât like how she was, then they werenât the person for her anyways. So, she tried her best to be truly herself all the time. âIâd love another date. I think we could have a lot of fun. But, Iâm actually really glad you agree that the date is going well.â she said, the thought calming her nerves a bit more. Despite her confidence in other things, she always worried when she liked another woman. âIâd like that.â she said softly, but the smile turned into a chuckle and she shook her head laughing. âYouâd ask me to marry you after such a sort time together?â she asked eyebrow perking up. âI meanâitâd actually be cute, ring pops are GREAT.â she said scrunching her nose playfully. âOhhâI love strawberry.â
Flopping back onto her back but looked over at Cordie. âYeahâWell people are lame to have never done LARP. I mean, I did it, and still do for fun, but yannoâacting is its own form of LARP.â Â she grinned. âAs for magic, no, Iâve never played that. Buffy, Harry and LOTR Iâve watched and adored. And for being a geekâas long as I can remember honestly.â she said, and it was her truth, she really could not remember a time when she wasnât a geek. âForgot who you were?â she asked, wanting to get to know more about Cordie. âIâm so curious nowâand way to excited about our other dates.â she grinned. But the smile fell rather quickly as she thought about the bugs. âNOPE. Letâs change the subjectâcause fuck all that noise.â
She blinked a couple of times, just listening in utter fascination as Cordie described all that she knew about the idea of surviving a zombie apocalypse. âNot shoot the bitten? I always figured once they were bitten it was a pretty fast turning, or thats how it seems in most movies.â she said, âThough, I donât watch a lot of zombie stuffâŠgives me the hibbe jebbies.â she continued. âMmhm! Iâve had about three or four lessons. Iâm getting a lot better! If you ever want to see I practice with Nora on Thursdays.â she explained. âWhyâI really donât know much about thisâyouâll have to teach me. So the trigger happy people go there? That seemsâŠ.counter intuitive, shouldnât they go out in the fray to fight?â She shivered once more at the feeling of the cold yellow paint on her cheek, and smiled once the other kissed her cheek. It was just so cuteâso innocent and fun. âNo riskâand even so I like it. ButâYou have, though I still enjoy hearing about it. Itâs nice.â but the mention of her freckles made her blush more. She wasnât used to people commenting or even noticing her freckles. Its not that she hid it, but moreso they just werenât as noticeable. âWell we could take the paint off.â she offered with a smirk.Â
âI was a Beater. Came from many years as a dodgeball tyrant.â Cordelia said, grinning proudly. âWhat about you? My guess would be Keeper, but thatâs probably more you as a person.â She winked playfully at Eve, delivering the corny line playfully and not so much as a serious pick up line.âDamn was definitely authentic.â She agreed with a short laugh. âIâd say it summed up how I feel rather nicely, too. But it is kinda adorable hearing you say bloody hell.â Considering they were in London, Cordelia didnât find it necessary to comment on anyoneâs British accent, considering they were the majority. But being American, she definitely enjoyed hearing it. âI am pretty sexy, though, arenât I? Wait until you see me with glasses. I pull off those ridiculous things like no one else could.â
Red. It was an odd colour to favour, but not a bad one. It was bold and courageous. Strong, even, just as Eve had said. âYouâre not wrong. Maybe we should make some more red, then. It is supposed to be Valentineâs or whatever. Which I will admit is a total cop out of a holiday, but Iâll take any excuse to eat candy.â Cordelia found the red paint and applied some to her lips, before leaning in and placing a soft kiss on Eveâs neck in two different spots, leaving two perfect lip shapes. âYouâre sort of looking like a cartoon character.â Cordelia joked, laughing as she took Eveâs hand in her own and pressed her lips to the back of it, showing her what was now happening on her cheek and neck. âSee?â
Laughing, Cordie shrugged. âI mean, why not! You love lilies, havenât asked what a single term Iâve used so far meant, play Quidditch and LARP, and though you havenât played D&D, you know what it is. Also, cosplay, so.. thatâs a win. I mean, Iâd give our impulsive marriage.. fourteen months, at least. Not to say it wouldnât last longer, but thereâs destruction in U-Hauling, you know?â She spoke with a purposely serious face, but was trying not to laugh the whole time. âStrawberry for my candy fiance, it is. Do I start singing I Want Candy now, or?...â Cordelia was definitely blushing when Eve proclaimed her excitement for the other dates. âI donât think too excited is possible. Letâs hope you stay curious enough to get to date three, though.â A playful wink was thrown her way.
âFrom all the lore out there, it can take up to a couple days to turn. I mean, if you get a bite to say the neck, and bleed out instantly, you die faster, and reanimate faster. But itâs the infectious bite that kills you, and if your arm is bitten or scratched, itâll take longer for you to die. Think about it: Youâre bitten, and you know if you tell, youâll get a bullet to the head before you can say your goodbyeâs or get your affairs in order. Are you going to just come forward? Or try to hide it?â Itâs where most people in movies went wrong. âNow.. if you knew by coming forward, youâd be kept in comfortable quarantine, and allowed to choose if you died before or after the turning â if you wanted to hold out through the fever and pain.. if you didnât want to turn at all? If you knew youâd be given that choice, with time to process and say goodbye? Would you be more inclined to come forward, then? Youâre going to die either way, but by coming forward, you get your last goodbyeâs, and people around you are safe, right?â It made the most sense by any means, at least to Cordelia.
âPlus, by coming forward, you can then choose to donate your body. I mean.. if youâve a doctor or a few med students.. having a freshly turned zombie could be like a cadaver, you know? Someone they could learn on without the decayed organs. And then you can â theoretically â train a whole generation of surgeons. And then thereâs the Class System, I think would work best. Tell me, Beautiful â what are your skills? In a zombie world.. aside from your newfound archery talents.. what could you and how would you contribute to a community? What would a community have to have for you to even consider joining? And is the potential for danger in being with a lot of people.. a worthwhile risk to being on your own with no one watching your back?â Only the hard hitting questions, obviously.
âAs for government.. think of it this way â how screwed up are governments already? Now, put the threat of zombies in there. Theyâre going to be scared, just like we are.. only theyâve got weapons. Give a scared man a gun, and heâs going to shoot first, ask questions later. On top of that, the government creating safe zones? People are going to be terrified to come forward, not to mention, theyâll be correcting mistakes as theyâre made. It wonât last, and since the majority of people will scurry into those so called safe zones? Itâll be the most dangerous. Best thing to do if you canât get safely out of the city when outbreaks first start, is to hunker down for a bit first. Not just government officials own guns, and you can bet a lot of innocent people would die in the first few days alone, just by impulse shots made by terrified people. Italy, man. Iâm telling you.â
Take the paint off? Well, Cordelia wasnât going to initiate anything rushed, but how was she even supposed to say no to something like that? Unless she was getting ahead of herself, of course. âThe paint is making it a little chilly. And I have to admit.. a nice, warm shower sounds.. extremely enticing..â She replied with a breathless smirk of her own, still red hand moving around Eveâs body and resting on her ass, pulling their bodies flush together, and kissing her once more. As their lips connected, Cordelia couldnât help the soft moan that sounded past her throat; that same electrical build up was just as strong as their first kiss, and it was addictive.
