5am Here i am sleeping getting my full 8 hours and then some and around 5:50am fire alarm sounds off BEEP BEEP BEEP ok my alarm goes off at 6:30am what in the world is happening to my house ah wake me in five minutes.

6:30am alarm goes off “song-For unto us a child is born a son is given” get up realize its not Christmas turn off alarm. get ready go to work.

7am-3:30pm work

3:30 come home walk into kitchen its a mess like normal

4:30pm dads home. ME - “hey Dad” DAD - “ hey everyone almost died this morning when you were all asleep. I came down at 5am to clean a pot and boil water.

5am same day dad goes down stairs to clean pot, puts pop on stove and heads back up stairs to do paper work.

5:30am Dad forgot all about pot on stove dad smells smoke. BEEP BEEP BEEP Smoke alarm the only one we have in the house furthest away possible from the kitchen as well. dad heads down stairs remembering the pot. at the bottom of the steps is glass doors dad sees all the Black smoke on the other side. opens door walks into smoke sees fire huge going up the wall. “WE HAVE NO FIRE EXTINGUISHER” dad puts out fire!

4:35pm me after hearing the story sees the damage its not bad just needs new paint job. Dad says he thought the smoke would have killed Dan.

Current time. i still don’t know how my dad put out the fire.

i don’t think he used water there was grease fire
