If you are an indie Final Fantasy RPer and would like to be added to a masterlist of active RPers to help make it easier for people to find partners, please either like/reblog (though reblogs are preferred) this post or send us an ask. Multimuse blogs are welcome as long as at least one main or secondary muse is from a Final Fantasy game. OCs that are based in a Final Fantasy game, or who have a major verse for one, are welcome as well!
What is happening?! She cannot believe that she’s being yelled at over some lame loser like Meebo! Meebo!! ❝ You sure have some audacity to assume things about the one who literally saved you and your kingdom, ❞ Edna begins calmly, lifting up her umbrella to let it rest against her shoulder. It’s still closed, but should Sarah say the wrong words, well, Edna won’t be responsible for what will happen next because Sarah clearly asked for it. Alas, she is fairly certain that the princess won’t back down from this as easily as she originally thought. Which sucks. Really sucks.
And so, she narrows her eyes with a warning glint. ❝ For your information, I’ve only known him for a few handful of days. Your world is the first one we’ve actually traveled to and saved. It’s barely the beginning. ❞ But upon hearing the next words, she feels genuinely confused. ❝ What? You really don’t recall him? He told me that he used to travel with Shepherd Sorey before on his own journey. Surely you must’ve seen him before, even a little … ❞ How odd. Is Mikleo hiding something from her? His own travel partner? That … annoys her. A lot.
❝ Argh, again with this nonsense! ❞ Edna frowns, wishing Meebo was still here so that she can whack him for this stupid, stupid misunderstanding. She tries to recall the bantering from earlier ( “Edna, saving the world doesn’t mean you can just get a free pass to do whatever you want. There are rules to follow!” / “What rules? I’m not even from this world, so why do I have to follow them?” / “Because outsiders like us need to respect and adhere to each world’s proper form of conduct since each one of them functions differently. Not doing so is rude.” / “Meebo, you talk too much. You're literally just describing common courtesy.” / “Because it's like you don't know what it means! Anyway, I’m going on ahead first to the gate room. Try not to be too impolite to Princess Sarah, okay?” / “Okay, whatever. Now shoo already.” ) and thinks the two of them are incompatible as anything more.
❝ For the last time, I hardly know him! We’re just traveling together! If that’s the impression you got from us, then you certainly need to get out more. Why do you even think we’re close anyway? You need evidence to back up your claims. ❞
“I am not assuming anything!” She pouts. “I am merely stating an obvious observation.” She wished her older sister were here to join in and to back her up. Sara most certainly would agree with her. It wasn’t her fault that Edna couldn't see the obvious - even if she said the two had only started to travel with one another. Ah… How Sarah wished she had someone she cherished so and could travel with. Even her sister had someone like that. It just wasn't fair! …Perhaps this was another reason the sigil of magic Sarah had gifted Edna was that of poison. Her feelings of jealousy had also coalesced into this very same power. To think she was capable of wielding such power. Hmm… “If I wasn't trapped here because of that curse, I would most definitely accompany you! Mmm hmm!!” She nods her head. Then she could finally see the rest of her family again.
But then she shakes her head. “I'm afraid not. To be honest, I don't remember much of that time. I remember being ripped away from my sister, but…” She bites her lip. “That time was exceedingly… stressful to say the least. All I remember is the fear and anguish at that time and the look upon my sister's face as we were taken from each other.” She grimaces, thinking of that time. “I remember that lone knight being there and how he failed to protect us, how he failed to keep us sisters together…” Her hands clench into fists. “I never thought there was another stronger than him, but I suppose I was wrong.” But if Edna was able to free her then maybe…
But Edna's denial of her closeness with Sir Meebo brought her back to reality and the darkness of the past was forgotten in an instant. Sarah just smirks and playfully nudges Edna in the arm. “Okay~ Whatever you say.” Hmm… Maybe she should pen a letter to the Princess of DeLuxia. She had heard gossip from her people that Princess Solange was friends with a strange vampire with bright blue hair. Could that be this Meebo of Edna's? Well, if that was the case, then maybe Sarah could get the princess to join in on this too. “Do you think he'd reply differently if I were to ask him?” A dark grin plays on her lips as she steps past Edna then with her hands held behind her back. “I'll see if I can catch him before the two of you leave!” And with that she begins to race forward leaving Edna behind her.
Chaos’ Temple - Final Fantasy
He found himself in a familiar stance of guardian in the presence of Her Royal Highness, whom had been summoned as a warrior of harmony in service of the Goddess Materia. While the princess had expressed a sort of joy in being summoned to this world, having met and become fond of their fellow warriors – the Warrior himself was…for lack of a better word.
Angry.
While he usually welcomed any new face to the fray, as he did with Noctis, Y’shtola and some others who both were new and returning – when it had been the Princess Sarah who was next called to raise arms, to say he was shocked was simply putting it lightly. He was livid, why bring someone who had no business in war into this battle? He is aware that they needed as many warriors as possible to help maintain the balance of this world but…did it have to be the Princess?
While he had no doubt about Princess Sarah being capable of taking care of herself, and her power of music and magic has been a boon for them in their latest battles – he still worried. Greatly even. He must lead his comrades to sure victory, even if it means he must lead them to their deaths – as it had happened one too many times before and it will forever weigh on his heart for as long as it still beats within his chest.
But to order the Princess to follow that path here? Where the fighting is constant and unending? How can he even begin to make peace with that?
The starlit knight was still stewing in his anger as he walked beside the Princess, finding themselves in the familiar grasses of Lake Cornelia, pulled from both their memories no doubt, the gentle breeze and rolling hills brought a sense of peace, at least to one of them. It did little to dissuade the Warrior from his inner turmoil.
However, when he sensed the Princess turn her fair visage to speak to him – the Warrior did his best to school his features, hoping she wouldn’t be able to tell of his distress.
“I have long served by the Goddess’ side, the mechanics of this world helped hone my blade – as it did with the others summoned alongside me.” he keeps his voice steady and sure, managing even a bit of gentleness when he answers the princess, though the softening of his eyes is genuine as his blue eyes meet hers.
“However, I am not certain what the gods think when it comes to choosing and trusting their warriors, I can only assume what they see within each of us is what prompts them to summon them.”
He hesitates for just a brief moment, taking a deep breath to calm his racing thoughts before allowing himself to open his eyes again and look towards her highness, gentleness now making itself more prominent on his visage, genuine and always kind towards the princess.
"Your Highness, if I may ask, how are you faring here? I hope the constant battles hasn't been too draining for you."
Though not entirely oblivious to the shift she sensed in the Warrior's emotions, she doesn't comment on it. Past experience would suggest otherwise, but she refrained. Perhaps she was afraid of those past experiences so she said nothing - only contented herself with the sounds of nature all around them. As she listens to his answers, Sarah thinks back on her summoning into this world and how lost she had felt. It had just been another normal day in Cornelia. The sun had been shining with a gentle breeze. She had been listening to the citizens tell her of their bountiful crops that the earth had yielded and how their fires never lacked for warmth and the waters were much calmer than before. Truly she knew that the Warriors were to thank for such boons and Sarah had been making her way to her study to pen them a letter when a mysterious light in the castle gardens drew her attention. Before she could even understand what was going on, she opened her eyes to find herself in a land that lacked the abundant green fields of her kingdom and a strange tower in the distance amongst many ruins. All she knew when she arrived at the Goddess's tower was her mission - to collect the energy needed to sustain both this world and the Gods - and that Sarah had no way of returning home until such a mission was complete. Whenever that would be, she didn't know, and while a part of her longed for the walls of her castle, she was enjoying herself here as not only did she get to meet many new friends, but she was able to journey alongside the Warrior of Light. It was something she could not wait to tell her family when she returned. Hopefully they wouldn't be too worried in the meantime, especially if she were to return home with the experience necessary to protect herself from another kidnapping.
Upon learning that he fought alongside the Goddess many times before, Sarah couldn't help but wonder if this was why she had seldom seen the Warriors much after they saved the world from darkness. Though she was grateful for their deeds and sacrifices and knew that duty ever called, she still wished they could stay with her in her world for longer, especially as she watched the Warrior here on the battlefield. She always knew that he was strong, but never quite knew the extent of how strong he really was. His proficiency with both light and defensive abilities was far beyond any of her father's men. Of course there were times when they did not fare as well in their battles, but it always seemed that he came in clutch in the end.
Sarah was a little envious that the others had been here much longer than she. To her it just meant that she was far behind everyone else's capabilities as a fighter - even more so because she was a princess and spent most of her life doing the exact opposite of engaging in battles. But as she takes the Warrior's words into consideration, the eldest Princess of Cornelia wonders if Goddess Materia saw something in her that she, perhaps, did not. Maybe the next time the Goddess held court, Sarah would ask her about it, but she also knew that gods could be fickle, so the doubt came into her mind if she would even get a straight answer.
For the briefest of moments, she is taken aback by the swirl of emotions in his eyes as he looks into her's before, it seems, whatever he had been experiencing vanished. Sarah just offers him a smile and considers his question. With a finger to her chin, she thinks. Hmm… While this world was strange, it also felt and looked familiar as if she both knew it and didn't. Some of the ruins surrounding the Goddess's tower reminded her of home, but she had just chalked that up to her own homesickness. “I've been faring quite alright, I believe. I do miss everyone back home, but,” She locks her fingers together and looks into the distance. “I would be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying the experience of fighting alongside everyone - you most of all. I can see now how Sir Garland fell by your hand and the other Warriors.” Stranger still that he was in this place, too. “I don't think the battles have been too tiring, but perhaps that is just the adrenaline and excitement talking.” She laughs.
Thinking back to some of their more recent battles, she turns her attention back to the Warrior, her eyes full of cautious curiosity, “Speaking of… You two are on better terms that I would imagine. Is that due, in part, to your time here?” It was strange to her. She wasn't sure if her own connection with her father's former knight would ever be the same or return to something almost normal, but she was envious of the bond that the two men seemed to share. Perhaps that was something she wouldn't ever understand - the bonds between men were much different compared to those between say herself and the Sage Lukahn for example.

D.uellum verse: Sarah is summoned by the crystals to save modern day Tokyo from the distortions that have appeared. She is a support character like Ri.kku and K.rile and specializes in both healing and boosting teammates stats with her trusty lute. She attends school with everyone and is in the same class as R.inoa. In her free time, she enjoys attending musicals and also does not know how to use a phone either. Her modern outfit will be her commoner outfit from WoFF and then this is one of her staves.
THE GENTLE breeze elicit memories that are far and deep in the creases of the SAVIOR's mind. The dim recollection of seeing the grand and ever expanding greenery of GRAN PULSE dawns in LIGHTNING's mind and the faraway sound of her companions wonder and delight in being free from the dangers of COCOON's forces. If Lightning closes her eyes, she can almost hear Vanille's excited cheer in showing off their hometown, and Snow and Hope's question about the new wildlife in view. Even Sazh and Fang's laughter at seeing everyone being shocked with the new vegetation is nearby in her ear.
The smell of life that is not yet touched by the UNSEEN REALM makes Lightning stand still beneath the canopy of trees and an emotion close to longing blossoms, before a voice pulls her back to the present. Back where she stood alone as the salvation in the FINAL THIRTEENTH DAYS of the world. There are no need for her to look back, no need for any emotion. She is but the savior that the world deserves but not need.
“ Who are you ? ” Lightning ignores the stranger's inquiry. Voice neutral and eyes keen.
Of course she wouldn't know who she was - that was understandable. Sarah probably wouldn’t know who she was either if life had turned out differently back there. Swallowing the lump that had shaped in her throat and inwardly shouting at her the butterflies in her stomach, Sarah replies with a shake of her head, “My name is Sarah.” Twiddling her fingers together, she bites her lip before continuing, “I… remember you from back then. You were a Pulse L'cie.” If she were to close her eyes right now, she'd be able to recall with perfect clarity, Eden, the Seat of the Sanctum with its sprawling streets and boundless buildings that housed everything from residency to shops. Then there were the parks in between all of that, but most of all she remembered that day with the crystals fluttering in the breeze as if they were simply puffs of dandelions spreading their seeds as far as the eye could see.
Sarah still wasn't sure how she had found herself in this world far into the future where it seemed as if no one else remembered the past. She knew there was a group of historians somewhere to the north? Or the northeast that were studying the ruins of some advanced city and there were ruins nearby the farms of a city even more ancient than those. Maybe one day she'd ask the historians for information, but for now she contented herself with the company in front of her. “Are you looking for something nearby? Greens for a chocobo or… is there something else? Wooley Sheep Milk? I think the sheep are due for a milking today if that's what you're after.”
And other second post.. an attempt to draw Princess Sarah

Another day, another reprieve into town. Greeting the townsfolk as she went, Sarah was taking another stroll along her people, thankful for the break from her studying. Today they were learning about ancient peoples across the world. She had learned about her own ancestors, those of the elven kingdom, those of Onrac and finally today they were learning about the ancient Lufenians. Her governess had taught both her and her sister about how they had started the war with the world that had fractured the relations between countries, but their civilization (and advanced technology) had been lost to time. In some ways, Sarah was glad that such a powerful foe had been vanquished. She didn't want to think about what kind of scars they would cause her kingdom now, but a part of her was curious what their advanced knowledge would be able to do for the world, how much more advanced the world would be or if it would be a frightening place instead of the calm and tranquil world she knew today.
She spotted a familiar face amongst the crowd (probably out on her duties) and the eldest princess of Cornelia rushed towards the girl, her beautiful locks fluttering in the breeze as she went. “Neon! It's so good to see you! Are you on duty? As your princess,” She places her hands on her hips. “I do declare that you are free for the time-being to accompany me!” She chuckles. Of course she wasn't truly being serious. Neon was free to do whatsoever she wished, but Sarah did hope Neon would humor her. “I must tell you about my lessons today. They were absolutely frightening to think about! I really would like your opinion on the subjects my governess covered today.”
“Good morning princess. Out for an early stroll?” A little old woman smiled in greeting, halting her broom in order to keep dust and debris from getting kicked up in the other's presence. It was always a joy to see Sarah and her sister whenever they were out and about. Like walking rays of sunshine, they seemed to make everything around them just a little bit brighter.
As if remembering something, the woman shuffled a bit in order to face the open door of the shop she tended.
“Oh, Fauna dear! Come here for a moment, would you? I'd like to introduce you to someone.” “Yes ma'am!”
One could almost feel the ground tremble following the sound of something being placed down within the confines of the shop, only to be replaced with a more rhythmic thump of heavy footsteps as Fauna's looming form emerged and ducked under the doorway in order to exit.
“Princess Sarah, this here is Fauna. She's been ever so kind in helping me rearrange the store. Strong as an ox, this one!”
Normally Fauna would be rather humble at the compliments, brushing them off with a “it's nothing” or “I'm more than happy to help”, but right now she was far too busy having an internal fight for control over her own body. This was the princess? Oh gods, she never should have come outside! Not while she was dripping with sweat and looking her absolute worst! Was her posture okay? Was one supposed to bow in this situation? No, curtsy maybe? Kneel? Oh, this was starting to stress her out!
What was supposed to be the most exciting moment of her life was quickly turning into the most embarrassing. So in an effort to try and salvage whatever was left of a first impression, the giant woman stood straight as a board, clasped her hands tightly in front of her, and swiftly bowed.
“It's a pleasure t' meetcha!” Oh this was absolutely, positively mortifying; you don't greet royalty like that! So to correct this social faux pas, Fauna was quick to stand back up straight and take that greeting from the top. “I-I mean, its wonderful to meet you ma'am!”
Nailed it.
Her travels (if they could even be called that) took her into town today. The hustle and bustle of everyday life was beginning to become more and more familiar as time went on. In fact she was able to recognize most, if not all, of the people out on the streets which was, to her, something to be proud of. She took her duties as royalty, as princess, seriously and though she did long for a quieter life and did enjoy sneaking out of the castle when she could, she still wouldn't give up seeing the happiness on her people's faces. It always brought her unimaginable joy - especially when she was able to help assuage their fears or solve whatever ailed them. In this respect she was more hands-on with the citizens than, perhaps, her father was, but he was a busy man with a country to lead although... Sometimes she did agree with the citizens that her father should be a little more proactive in their lives.
A curious little shop took her eyes by surprise and steering her younger sister towards it, she gave their two guards a smile and a wave before making their way over. They were both greeted by a lovely old lady as they passed by more of the townsfolk and shops. She reminded Sarah just a tad of their governess though Sarah rather doubted that this woman was as strict as their teacher). A very nice, cozy scent fills the air around them and wafts into her nose. Homey... and pleasant. It was unlike the more floral smells back home that seemed to frequent each wall and room of the castle since Sarah had made the royal gardens her hobby. It must be from inside the little house the woman is standing in front of. Sarah smiles and replies, "Yes, something like that. Cordelia have come to find gifts for Mother and Father." It was their anniversary soon and, truth by told, neither girl knew what they were really searching for, but they knew they would find it eventually. It was just one of those things where they would know it was the right thing when they saw it.
She waited patiently while the older lady called on another (this, too, was something Sarah had grown used to over the years), a girl by the sounds of it, and Sarah could heard the sounds of both someone and her guards drawing nearer. It almost seemed, to her at least, that there was a wash of emotions overtaking the other green haired girl that made her appearance. Actually now that Sarah thought about it, this was her first time seeing the other girl. She was ashamed of herself for not recognizing the other girl, let alone the girl's name, but she gave her a warm smile nonetheless. She returned the girl's bow with one of her own and giggled at the informal greeting that was followed by a more proper one.
"There is no need for such formalities! But it is a pleasure to meet you, too, Miss... Fauna, was your name?" Although their shop was not the one Sarah had in mind, she saw the way her sister's neck craned to see more of what was inside and... was that a twinkle in someone's eyes? Maybe it was her own reflecting in the visage of the company before. She offers a warm greeting to the older lady as well and continues, "This is your shop, yes? I believe Cordelia would very much like to see what wares you sell, and I confess," She sighs, a hand to her cheek. "I do too! You see she and I are looking for a present for Mother and Father, but there simply hasn't been anything that has caught our eyes! Perhaps the two of you have what we're looking for? Do you have any kind of recommendations for two princesses, Miss Fauna?" Sarah asked, hoping that her question would not send the poor girl into a state of panic, but really! Sarah would appreciate all the help she could get! She (and Cordelia) were truly stumped!

"I remember you!" Her voice seems to ring out across the green plains of the Wildlands.
By some trick of fate Sarah had been reborn in this new world far from any semblance of the past she once knew, but she would never forget the face of the rose haired woman before her now. It was a face that she had seen all too often all throughout Cocoon - a Pulse L'cie that had threatened everyone's way of life on their floating planet in the sky. Though Sarah had relocated to Pulse in the years that had followed the fall, it still took some time to unlearn the propaganda that had been fed to Cocoon's people. So even now, even though she knew better there was a part of her that was a little frightened by this woman. After all who knew where her life would have led if things had turned out differently.
Quietly she whispers, “You... you were... are a Pulse L'cie, are you not? I remember your face so clearly from those days... What are you doing here?”
