Chapter 39 recap

Welcome back to the next chapter of corotipia folks! As we get back into our story reunited with three more of our companions we make our way out of the volcano and are on the path towards the dark lord’s castle.

this episode is a bit of filler but hey who doesn’t like shenanigans!

Damn this place looks about as friendly as my old middle school!

We’ve been building up to this for the last 39 chapters now’s the time to build a plan of attack and rescue our remaining friends!

Well! Along the path we face many a monster per the usual, along the path we meet a familiar face! No it’s unfortunately not one of our teammates, the story can’t be over that quickly!

Lost in the winding paths is our old pall laceless! how ya been kid?

Yeah unfortunately we are right on the edge of a volcano.

Chapter 38 recap

Howdy there people! I’m back again with the next chapter recap!

Apologies for the long wait! Burn out hit me like a bus.

So as we care to remember our current team of Goggles, Bobble, Army, and Skull had gotten separated. Now I uh… have a confession.

I forgot to record the team finally meeting back up and the aftermath, I KNOW IM SORRY I DONT KNOW HOW I FUMBLED THIS BAD!

As apologies I offer a quick summary of what happened with my own little doodles

Doodle out of the way now back to your regularly scheduled programming!

So with three team members returned with six to go we travel further into the volcano in search of the their six members or the team!

No doubt Vinny boy stuck their faces onto monster like the others so that’s gonna be a challenge, considering the monsters in the stupid volcano can light everyone on fire.

Emperor thankfully is here to helping us fight through the hordes of monsters.

Im sorry growling???

Oh of CORSE WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH A CERBERUS DOG!

AND SPOILER ALERT FOLKS ITS GOTTHE FACES OF HEADPHONES MASK AND MITSUMI!

this gonna be a long fight.

Okay this just feels like cheating-

THANK GOD! Good bye demon puppy! I know I doesn’t seem like it but this was a really long fight especially cause this damn dog could move three times!

but with the dog defeated that means our friends get their faces back!

Good to have ya back guys! With these guys back that makes six rescued friends!

Good to see! Now we just gotta find Specs, Rider and Aloha….

if their faces aren’t stuck to something Rider has definitely killed Aloha by now.

Chapter 37 recap

Welcome back everyone as we last left we switched from whatever Goggles and Army were doing to the shenanigans of Bobble and Skull.

it’s going as well as you think it is, especially since unlike the blue dim lightbulb I can’t control these two!

Yeah let’s get a move on folks we got a LOT of ground to cover cause we also need to find that path the other two opened up.

As we go through the molten tunnel we run into burning mummies and living bombs.

Oh god it’s gonna eat skull!

IT ATE HIS WEAPON ??? Okay now it’s personal, I SEND GOOD MONEY ON THAT YOU PILE OF BANDAGES!!!

Good! Flipping mummies thinking they can take the weapons that I payed for!

However, as the journey wears on a bit of a spec breaks out between these two, now really ain’t the time for this guys.

Look I get that it’s hot and miserable in here and you’ve been separated from the only other two people you’ve seen in a while after getting your faves snatched but we massive fish to fry you two!

Oh good they forgive each other now let’s keep going we have a dark Lord to wipe the floor with and I swear if emperor could’ve beaten him this whole time I’m going to riot!

You do know dear narrator that he won’t find vintage because this is Goggles fight right?

Chapter 36 recap

Yup so far it’s still just these dorks, last time we had the cave collapsed on our heads separating our party in two, this is giving me an odd sense of déjà vu.

And press on is right, we got an evil wizard with no legs to beat up!

Goggles I think you’ve been hanging around emperor too much, because holy ego stroking.

listen, we know you’re the main character, but goodness gracious.

speaking of emperor, he’s still around, surprisingly! I have a feeling we’re gonna be stuck with him until we rescue the others, basically wonder what kind of monsters are slapped on and how much of a pain in the butt it’s gonna be getting them back.

oh yeah, we know you’re able to scare him off, but are you stronger than him? Because I swear to everything if you are and you have just sat on your butt doing NOTHING-

Goggles we talked about the ego stroking But how do you not know if you’re stronger than Vinny boy or not emp?

Chapter 35 recap

Heya there folks it sure has been a while!

The last time we were together following the story of Corotopia we had saved three of the nine people, those being the faces of Army Skull and Bobble! Now we travel to the dark Lord‘s castle in hope of saving the rest of the team!

it’s going as well as you think it is…

Glad to see you two are keeping the spirits up, considering we still have six more people to rescue.

Hold on a moment something’s different about this thing?

Well would you look at that? Goggles here is gone trigger happy, also I JUST SAID HOLD IT!!

Yes narrator?

Am I hearing this right? The monsters are only violet because Vinny boy sticks a face on them?

Why, yes! By nature most monsters like griffin and butterflies are harmless by nature.

And you didn’t tell me this because…

Well anyway, as we travel further and further up the volcano, we reached the entrance to the cave system.

we are now, but I hop skip and jump away from Vinny boys castle!

or that’s what I would say. If there wasn’t a massive problem.

The cave is unstable and collapsed on our hero’s, separating the team in two.

This is going to be a veeerrryyy long arc.

Chapter 34 recap

Here we are again everyone! This time we only have one more team member to save, we’ll not really but Skulls the only one left in the mineshaft!

And we open on a wtf from Goggles! Seriously my guy that’s morbid.

Seriously that really is weird. You know you’re gonna have to fight whatever monster Vinny boy decided to slap skulls face on right Goggles?

Tis always a mystery with what that devious Dark lord decides to do with her dear heroes faces.

Amulet? Where have you been?

Well if you must know I’ve-

No time for banter amulet it’s go time!

Throght many a trial of monster Team new blue have found the monster holding Skulls face!

The fight is not easy against the burning skull golem especially for army considering that golem his boyfriend‘s face, the burning golem focus mainly on fire attacks, badly burning, burning our heroes as the fight continues, however, with the power of plot armour and sheer audacity Army manages to land the final blow freeing Skulls face!

That’s three down six to go! Let’s catch up on the things we missed.

It’s good to have ya back Skull!

Well, if my hunch is correct, I say their faces are slapped on the monsters just like your guys was.

Hey again folks! We back at the hunt for the missing faces of Goggle’s friends! The only immediate friend to save is Army and Skull, after them we gotta find the the rest of these numb brains.

I’m sorry he can CONTROL the monsters with peoples FACES?!?

That is actually insane behaviour.

Welp as our hero’s continue through the wastes the search for the other two continues, not long however!

Chapter 32 recap

Hello again folks! As we last left Emperor has semi teamed up with Goggles in order to rescue the faces of his friends!

it’s going as well as you think it would.

Why are you called the Sage? You scared off Vinny boy once and have been popping up throughout the story periodically ever since.

Yeah that checks out for the most part.

Goggles his ego is large enough, you don’t need to stroke it.

We continue to travel across Karkaton Ascent, it’s mostly just a lot of mage goblins.

Fair enough, it’s been like two arch’s since your og team was kidnapped.

With the help of Emperor magic we are able to locate where everyone’s faces may be. Granted there are no doubt gonna be slapped onto a monster cause that seems to be the only thing vintage knows how to do with a face.

What’s with the stance guy’s-

WHOA SHIT I SEE WHY.

Yeah this is going to be a long fight.

Magma slime’s aren’t easy to take down considering we only have Goggles and Emperor who’s keeping this dumbass alive cause LITERAL SENTIMENT BALL OF MAGMA!!!

However, this is my story and Goggles has plot armour.

Monster defeated means Bobbles face is now free!

Why are you wondering?!?! Every time we defeat a monster with someone’s face you send that face back to its owner! Where have you been for the last 31 chapters recaps????

Heading back to the mineshaft we make it just in time to see Bobble reunite with her face!

With Bobble back in the party and now we stand a better chance against the monsters that hold Skull and Army’s faces!

Chapter 31 recap

We back in action baby! Welcome back to Corotopia!

Last we left Goggles has been left alone with Vintage kidnapping his entire team again. So that makes 9 people we gotta save, strap in kids this is going to be a wild ride.

Where we’re headed towards the Dark lord Vintage castle that is at the top of the volcano, if that ain’t the most evily evil thing to ever evil I don’t know what it is.

Yeah we ain’t getting through this without the power of friendship.

crossing the wasteland that is this place, our idiot hero stumbles across an abandoned mineshaft and decides to take refuge from the monsters.

And finds something quite shocking!

Skull, Army And Bobble all missing their faces! This is baaaaaad.

Oh yeah and Emperors here to.

Eyup these guys belong to us, you can guess what happened.

Now get your ass in gear I need your help, this moron will die with out you.

Chapter 30 recap

Hello everyone! Welcome to chapter 30 and the start of one of the longer arcs of Corotopia!

When we last left we were in the Elven retreat celebrating the return of all the stolen faces!

Thanks girls! With the help of the Fab Fairy Sisters we’ll know how to find Viiny boy!

(Wheeeeeezzzz) This is the greatest day of my life!

The boy squad being goofs aside, with that dance we learn the way to the Dark Lords castle!

With a fond farewell from our favourite fabulous sisters we send our heroes onto the path to rescue not only their missing friends, but the rest of Corotipia with it!

we aren’t out of the woods just yet we have to fight our way through a few more battles before we finally settle in an inn for the night

Just another testament to goggles stupidity.

As our hero’s journey continues we set our sites towards-

Chapter 29 pt 2

Hi we keeping this ball rolling foals and for good reason to!

Among the waters we follow our hero’s as they look for this missing face of Frye, as we do a voice is heard from the flowers!

Team Blue3 and Marie runs after the voice of Frye in hopes to prevent her face from being stuck onto whatever Vintage has in store.

I uh-

That’s a frog.

WE STICKING FACES OF FROGS NOW??? THE TADPOLES WERE PUSHING IT I DONT EVEN WANNA MENTION THE TURKEYS-

So I’ll take over while Narrator rants in the background. The hero’s put up a good fight, throwing all they can at the frog in order to rescue the face of the youngest Fab Fairy Sister!

-AND THE FROG USES BAD BREATHE TO ATTACK!!

I- wha- huh?!

Oh! Oh yeah that was an attack…

Yeah I’ll take back over from here. So like Amulet was saying with the power of ‘random bullfish go’ Froggy Frye goes down releasing the stolen face.

We head back towards the retreat, we see Frye’s face reunited with her body.

With this all faces are now returned to their proper place and the Fea Wilds arc comes to a close!

Chapter 29 pt1

Another 2 parter? Yup! Mainly because I can’t fit all I want into this chapter and have to split this one as well.

Following the trail of the missing Fab Fairy Sister Fry leads us to the Lotus lake a sprawling body of water with gigantic lotus flowers littering the waters.

Turns out in order to get to vintage we need the girl’s help. Still not looking forward to volcano monsters.

Tadpoles, Golems, and apparently the damn WIND are out to get Team Blue3 across the lillie pads. With the help of Marie they monsters go down without issue.

Not long into the lillie’s we reach roadblock number I forgot!.

And that we do!

Booyah baby we continue on our quest!

Also this place is beautiful at night!

And none of them stayed awake that night! Feels accurate to this group.

We continue over the lilly pads we fight our way across the waters getting a work out outa everyone!

I can only imagine, man I wish I could live here, THIS PLACE IS PRETTY!

Chapter 28 pt 2

Aye prat 2 coming at you!

We return to bigg Forest in search of the still missing faces!

Uh you good there Gogs?

Oof I’ve got that feeling before, but mostly in my eye.

I’m not looking forward to fighting in a volcano, giving me massive Bowser vibes.

Anyway as we continue throughout the forest we reach a familiar part of branch, the same area where we once fought the stole face of Marie!

And wouldn’t you know it-

The stolen face of 8-bit makes place on a slime. been a while since we fought a slime!

With the combination of stupidity, bickering and plot Armor the slime holding 8-bits face hostage is defeated releasing her face.

With that we also gain another gem

Fey jewel B? Yeah I did this outa order didn’t I?

Chapter 28 pt1

Yeah Goggles I think you’ve neglected to mention to Marie and the rest of your team about what happed to your last two teams.

Welcome back readers! We’re currently back in the citrus caves looking for a stolen face when blue boy finds a lever.

Could hurt to pull it!

Booyah new path opened!

We continue through familiar caves in search of our missing face!

Oh yeah, Skull wasn’t here last time we were here!

Skull I tell you this now, do not. Drink the cave orange juice.

AGAIN ?!?! WHAT DID I SAY!!

Oh god Skulls gone.

Once again, this is why you don’t drink the cave orange juice.

We follow our crew throughout the cave and we soon reach our next boss room.

Shady’s face has been put upon a ginormous butterfly it’s been a while since we fought one of them! With the power of plot armour Shadyfly goes down and once again drops an odd jewel.

Fey feel C? Off I think I did this outta order.

Now we head back to the Bigg forest! The sooner the better!

You really don’t like those spiders don’t you ?

Chapter 27 recap

Chapter 27 starts with a quick overview of everyone that got faces swiped at the Elven Retreat.

Ooohhh boy we got our work cut out for us this time.

Well at least Barreleye is fine

Speaking of how the heck did Vinny boy miss you?

Marie now part of our team we head off towards the forests once more to rescue the faces of our missing Fab Fairy sister and residents of the Fea wilds!

I could apparently! If there’s a road block there’s a 50/50 chance Vintage is hiding behind it.

Nah I don’t think they’ll kick you out Marie, none of you knew that Vinny boy was waiting behind the door but now’s not the time for pity we got your people to save!

As we travel throughout the forest the team finally takes notice to how huge everything is.

Guys I don’t think you shrunk-

oooOOOR NEVERMIND I THINK YOU DID!!

I SECOND THAT ALOHA SWEET JELLY LEGS!

Aaaaand that’s not surprising.

Well as we travel throughout the forest the sun starts going down, without a trace of any of the missing faces our hero’s debate on settling in for the night.

However…

looks like they found us for once!

Time to get I gear for the first triple faced boss!

That is a stack of tomatoes… after all of the crazy things I’ve seen this is tame.

Being a stack of tomatoes, the bros go down without much trouble dropping a strange jewel after defeat.

Wonder what purpose this will serve in the plot later.
