Chapter 38 recap

Howdy there people! I’m back again with the next chapter recap!

Apologies for the long wait! Burn out hit me like a bus.

So as we care to remember our current team of Goggles, Bobble, Army, and Skull had gotten separated. Now I uh… have a confession.

I forgot to record the team finally meeting back up and the aftermath, I KNOW IM SORRY I DONT KNOW HOW I FUMBLED THIS BAD!

As apologies I offer a quick summary of what happened with my own little doodles

Doodle out of the way now back to your regularly scheduled programming!

So with three team members returned with six to go we travel further into the volcano in search of the their six members or the team!

No doubt Vinny boy stuck their faces onto monster like the others so that’s gonna be a challenge, considering the monsters in the stupid volcano can light everyone on fire.

Emperor thankfully is here to helping us fight through the hordes of monsters.

Oh of CORSE WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH A CERBERUS DOG!

Okay this just feels like cheating-

THANK GOD! Good bye demon puppy! I know I doesn’t seem like it but this was a really long fight especially cause this damn dog could move three times!

but with the dog defeated that means our friends get their faces back!

Good to have ya back guys! With these guys back that makes six rescued friends!

Good to see! Now we just gotta find Specs, Rider and Aloha….

if their faces aren’t stuck to something Rider has definitely killed Aloha by now.

with Emperor gone, Six friends rescued there’s only a few more obstacles left before we take on Dark lord Vintage!

TEAM BLUE!! + Braids and Kojake

I also gave them names since i hc the silly names they have to be affectionate terms inklings use for they’re friends

Also Team Blue has some sanitization scars from they’re time in the metro (bobble’s is on her back so it’s not pictured here but its there)

Goggles - John Gregory Splatem (a play on ash ketchum and also that one meme about john splatoon)

Headphones - Kaori Katsumata (Just goes by Kaori or Headphones since she abandoned her family name and ran away from home)

Specs/Glasses - Stephen Chekov (Chekov’s gun joke but he’s never fired)

Bobblehat - Aria Harmone (I have a hc that Bobblehat is really good with a bunch of instruments so :p)

Braids & Kojake - Braided Child of Monarch, Protector of the Sea & Brother of the Braided Child, Young Heir of the Monarch (Braids and Kojake are siblings since Braids was adopted by a clan of Salmonids (Braids being Kojake’s older sister) but since she knows inkfish won’t be able to use her full name she just has others call her Braids, Kojake is a term she gave to the heir since he couldn’t think of a good shortened name for himself

Chapter 37 recap

Welcome back everyone as we last left we switched from whatever Goggles and Army were doing to the shenanigans of Bobble and Skull.

it’s going as well as you think it is, especially since unlike the blue dim lightbulb I can’t control these two!

Yeah let’s get a move on folks we got a LOT of ground to cover cause we also need to find that path the other two opened up.

As we go through the molten tunnel we run into burning mummies and living bombs.

Oh god it’s gonna eat skull!

IT ATE HIS WEAPON ??? Okay now it’s personal, I SEND GOOD MONEY ON THAT YOU PILE OF BANDAGES!!!

Good! Flipping mummies thinking they can take the weapons that I payed for!

However, as the journey wears on a bit of a spec breaks out between these two, now really ain’t the time for this guys.

Look I get that it’s hot and miserable in here and you’ve been separated from the only other two people you’ve seen in a while after getting your faves snatched but we massive fish to fry you two!

Oh good they forgive each other now let’s keep going we have a dark Lord to wipe the floor with and I swear if emperor could’ve beaten him this whole time I’m going to riot!

You do know dear narrator that he won’t find vintage because this is Goggles fight right?

Chapter 6 recap (pt 1)

As we continue our journey we open this with Bobble drinking something she shouldn’t, funny, I thought it would be Goggles.

ANYWAY! The road to save king Octavio’s face is long and arduous.

It’s taking such a toll goggles here had a nightmare of his friends, being turned in the statues. Don’t worry I’ll shove them into the therapy box afterwards.

Our hero’s travel deep into the wild woods, unable to reach an Inn and must set up camp for the night, Specs volunteering to keep watch while the others rest, soon being joined by Headphones so he can get some rest as well.

Morning eventually comes in our heroes are back on the road, monsters galore keep popping out at them at every opportunity.

Eventually they find the King’s face stuck onto a golem, defeating the monster and freeing the King’s face like they did with the villagers of greenhorn!

During the trip back shenanigans insue.

Well now don’t this feel familiar

returning to the castle, they are greeted by the newly re-faced King Octavio

Chapter 36 recap

Yup so far it’s still just these dorks, last time we had the cave collapsed on our heads separating our party in two, this is giving me an odd sense of déjà vu.

And press on is right, we got an evil wizard with no legs to beat up!

Goggles I think you’ve been hanging around emperor too much, because holy ego stroking.

listen, we know you’re the main character, but goodness gracious.

speaking of emperor, he’s still around, surprisingly! I have a feeling we’re gonna be stuck with him until we rescue the others, basically wonder what kind of monsters are slapped on and how much of a pain in the butt it’s gonna be getting them back.

oh yeah, we know you’re able to scare him off, but are you stronger than him? Because I swear to everything if you are and you have just sat on your butt doing NOTHING-

I don’t think you’ll need to worry to much, Bobble is with the air head and although this pairing is definitely gonna be lost for a while I HIGHLY doubt they’ll end up in danger…again
