But it could do something worse.
The rage-stricken voice has been heard at least two carriages away, hurrying Izaya to take a sharp turn into a filled compartment and shoved himself and his brother inside.
“Why is it only me?” Izaya hisses behind the closed compartment, unimpressed hearing only the screams of his name and any inappropriate variation of his name thereof. “Doesn’t he know your name–” then judgmentally proceeds to look at his older brother, “–doesn’t he know anything?”
“Eeeeh~ well,” he suddenly continues, “but what do you expect from a lesser member of a House who decidedly adopts brawn over brains for an instinct.” Izaya takes out his wand and whirls it on himself as he chanted the simple disillusionment charm. He then gave a single tap on Ezura’s forehead, rendering them both camouflaged—albeit the one on his brother wasn’t as smooth as the one on himself… on purpose.
He blinked in a wide stare, and his brother’s finger parted from his forehead. When the texture of his undertones began matching the shade and colour of the comfy compartment seats, it made sense exactly what Izaya had done.
It was inadequat at best, even if he appeared ‘cloaked’. Ezura half-scowled downward before moving quickly from the door window. The blond streak of a Gryffindor moron bolted past, muttering and growling like the animal he was. “ Interesting how you say that. So why not wear the beast out for a bit?” His stretch arm went for the door handle, other to his middle of Izaya’s back.
“He is after all, calling your name.” The smirk on his lips was not nearly as big as the one at the corner of his eyes.
And all too friendly (not so graceful) began pressing into Izaya.
He watches as the Ravenclaw snorts at his Slytherin look-alike before his body grows almost unseen and gone from the compartment.
Levi intends to keep to himself, as he’s always done (mostly). That is, before Levi chokes on a horrible, ghastly taste that fills his mouth as quick as he swallows them back down. Holding back on his gag, he’s left with an tint of nausea.
Almost as quick, he passes the damned box it to the girl. “Your turn...” he manages to say, but the sound comes out more of a croak than his voice, courtesy of the disgusting--- whatever it was that bean was made to taste like.
By his right, Farlan, who already turned his attention to Levi, is teasingly offering water and the sort just for his own amusement--which of course, Levi chooses to ignore. He hasn’t vomited... yet.

shikishima is danggling his legs in the water of the black lake one random afternoon and then kai comes from behind and just push him into the water after allegedly making a pact with the merpeople to drag him away for at least two hours and bring shikishima back to the shore dead or alive
“Doing useless things, are we?” The voice had only spoke to one person in particular, condescendingly so. “Applying for tryouts like you’ll be sorted for the team, eh, Levi?”
The group, consisted of some 2rd and 3rd years, all of whom were adorned in Quidditch robes of Slytherin green, stopped in their tracks. None of them had to look to really know whose venom that belonged to. Annie, in particular had a nasty feel, surrounding that impassive face. And not because she liked Levi enough to take his side. Only out of disdain that the most probable effect of this little ‘chat’ which would definitely hinder their team trial.
“Ackerman, leave it.” Levi heard one of the 2rd year girl, Anka, started. “It’s not like you contribute anything to the house ever.”
“Nobody asked your opinion, Rheinberger.” Shikishima glared. “Wasn’t talking to you.”
Nobody asked yours either, Levi could hear the silent collective voices from their faces.
“Free periods, and you chose to spend it with me.” Levi waved away the rest of the trial team to go on without him, much to their dragging curiosity. “Haven’t you got enough that we’re living under the same roof both here and at home…”
Levi was, in actuality, willing pay anyone with galleons worth of fortune if he could be freed from this insufferable goat who had seem to have made it his job to stalk Levi in and out of the common room by every corner of the castle. Doesn’t he have any friends?
“Thought you’d do more work to appease grandfather. He’s not too happy with you, visiting her and lying about it.”
Levi’s brow twitched at the topic, but managed to choose reason over temper. “Thought you’d do more work to exercise your dim-witted brains over grooming your impeccable oil mine you call scalp, but I reckon that’s your business.”
An anger flashed in those black eyes, as opposed to Levi’s disinterest.
“Listen here, you sick, half-goblin–”
“Mr. Ackerman.”
Belonging to the same name, both of them turned at the same time at the call. It was Professor–what’s his face-–space geezer that never fail to put him to sleep along the first five minutes of his class, talking about… planet whatever.
“You, get ready for my class,” he told Shikishima. “And you… Quidditch pitch. Now. You haven’t even made the team yet. You’ll be considered out with your pitiful punctuality.”
Shikishima was not happy with the interference but showed no sign of defiance, before strutting away with an obvious scowl, heading back in. Levi, on the other hand, quietly did as he was told--despite being patronised in the process, lifting up his broomstick, as to not let it dragged for concern over the twigs.
He refrained from further conversing with the odd-looking teacher and head straight for the pitch.
What a way to start his day.
Hardly surprising at all. It was almost as though he was right where he left him. And as Izaya advanced, there sprang a spritely hop to each step he took across the ever so splendid, ‘Great Hall’.
Just before Levi could appropriately acknowledge a familiar shadow, Izaya dipped in on his opposite side. Between them laid a heavy chess board of crafted red and white pieces. Already scattered from his self strategies. All too easy.
“Queen to E5~” Izaya chimed in.
Body stilled, unsurprised to the coming of this self-volunteered challenger. Levi’s hooded field of view only flickered up just enough to instantly recognise the attire, before they reverted back to the magical chest board.
In truth, he spared no second glance to really confirm which of the twin this one could possibly be. Levi’s only qualm was that the call would've made a checkmate on his King.
“Looks like there just aren't any other seats left in this huge, empty hall, are there?" he delivered lightly, sarcasm oozing out from his tongue. “And now, you have to shamefully bear the dishonour for sitting with me.”
“‘May he rest in peace,”’ she whispered his words. More to herself than to Levi. The spoon stopped tapping in favour of being squeezed forcefully in her fingers.
She took a deep breath before mumbling out again,”This won’t be the last time I see him. And that’s what scares me.“
Drawing a sigh, he lays his back flat on the leather’s surface, resorting back the posture he had set in before she came. This time, an arm loosely covers the better part of his face, as if the light was blinding even with with his eyes closed.
“Just once...” he murmured.
Then Levi proceeds to stay quiet.
To see a spark in her eyes, I would have put myself on fire.

It was taxing, despite making no striking movement. The drowning anguish he felt as he stood idly when a fight is about to commence, the moment to watching those children unveil.
Forbearing disturbance within, with his hand, he covered the decaying excitement scarring throughout his whole face in agony.
Lord, help.
He was not going to make it.
His speed allowed him to weave himself towards Levi’s back. The blade struck at in full swing—
And then he stopped.
Right before the other could react, before the blade could slice skin even in the smallest measurements; there felt something marred in the air. A simple card held out towards his neck.
“Just what the hell do you think you’re doing?” Calm and collected and eyes burning fierce; he didn’t need to turn around to catch his companion.
With one dragged out inhale, Levi managed to mentally restrained himself back after Hisoka’s interference managed to snap Levi out of his fighting haze.
Reclaiming his sense of space, he didn’t waste another second watching those two. He had better things to do.
“If you’re done with the dramatics...” Levi eased out on his stance, his blade now only hanging by it’s pommel between two of his fingers, pointing down. “The door’s that way.”

She held him in silence. Tight, but it didn’t stop a shiver rolling up her arms. She heaved another shaky sigh with her shoulders. Marie knew, she knew the stale frame she clinged to was not welcoming. But he was solid in his soft clothing. Familiar traces of herbs, his black herbs vaguely emitted off his collar. He was there.
This was Levi, this was…
Self assured, her mumbling gained vowels, yet hardly volume, “Is the kettle still warm?”
The previous shock was easing out on him as he breathed them away. Levi held a groan, feeling a ball of shivering curled into comfort in his arms. He had no way of knowing what to make of this.
A step away where Levi was, Eren subtly waved by Levi’s attention, pulling a knowing brief smile and subtly walk away, escorting himself out the room (and possibly, the apartment).
Flatly, he retorted, “How should I know. I can’t go look with you locking me in, can I?”

Marie stopped beyond the wall. There’s a gap of hesitation, a deep knot forging in her throat at the parting of her mouth. Instead, she choses to silence herself.
She plunged forward, racing across without a trace of thought. There was no elegance–And she crashed into his arms, muffling a horrified sigh into the crook of the unexpected man’s neck. Slowly dampening the edge of fabric.
She didn’t let Levi go.
Bewildered, he didn’t even grasp the fact that no sound was coming out of his parting, gaping mouth—and Eren had missed nothing when the startling scene unfolded all too fast within his arm range.
He had a hard time deciding to focus on either of their situation. All because even Levi appeared to be looking as taken aback as much as Eren was, despite his supposed quirk to drown his emotions below level zero.
By some means, Levi had indistinctly dropped his guard when his eyes caught on her figure coming. He had not expected this. The flashes of the last second kept replaying in his head to make a sense out of this instance.
Papers scattering into the floor, his arms were stiff, hanging in the air with nowhere left to go with her arms wrapping around his figure. The uncomfortable circumstances left him breathless for two seconds.
