It’s a shot in the dark, but I’m actually quite curious:

Would anyone know where to watch the original Funimation in-house dub? Most of the content on this blog comes from the infamous 2007 Remastered Dub (orange bricks), with the occasional sprinkle of the former. It’s virtually nonexistent on the internet, and buying every Funimation single is too great a task for my wallet.

I understand that pieces of the orange bricks maintain the original dubbed dialogue where it didn’t need to be re-written and voiced. However, I feel like it’s one of those things worth preserving just as like, a study on the evolution of dubbing through the anime that led the charge in the major explosion of the 2000s.

I’m not here to proclaim the value of art and say ‘it was amazing actually’. It’s all jokey jokes here indeed, yet I believe it’s valuable to have every frame of reference possible for such a notorious series across multiple redos and reduxes. I genuinely don’t want it to be lost media, and well. If it is, that’s sad! Just think of all the Correct DBZ Quotes we could make together
