Art Black Out April 15th

The idea is that on April 15th - World Art Day - artists only post black images to draw awareness to something people take as given: a steady stream of visual content on their dashes. 

We are drawing attention to the ongoing issue of artists being disrespected and their art being stolen or reposted. Let’s make people aware of what the Internet would look like if artists stopped making art because they get discouraged or too scared to post for fear of having their work stolen. 

For one day, let’s flood dashes everywhere with gaping black spaces where art is supposed to be. 

HOW TO JOIN:

On April 15th post completely black images everywhere, on whichever platform it pleases you, and tag them with #artblackout.

Inform yourself on the issue of art theft, reposting and giving credit and spread the word! 

That’s it, well done, and thanks for helping artists to stay motivated to create the awesome content they are giving the world every day.

An additional suggestion: reblog them with “I want this on a shirt/mug/etc” so all the art theft bots start selling merch with the stolen ‘art’

Summer of Adventure

Summary:

It’s the summer before Dean and Cas start their freshman year of college, and they want it to be as fun-filled as possible. Despite Dean’s summer job at the movie theater taking up most of his time, they are determined to make it work. They set out to complete a 15 item list of activities, including mini-golf, a backyard bonfire, and a pancake eating challenge, taking pictures along the way to put in a commemorative scrapbook. Early on, a misunderstanding following an almost-kiss leads to Dean and Cas believing that their feelings for each other are unrequited. The tension puts a strain on their friendship, until one of them finally cracks and admits how he feels. As their relationship begins to grow, an unforeseen circumstance turns their world upside down. With their future hanging in the balance, their bond will be tested like never before.
