tell me about this AU please
Hi! So this au is basically is about how a glitch/corruption started to infect parts of the timeline starting with the lab. :P Itās not fully completed of how it started since I keep moving things with what ifs or ideas I have since I made it when I was 11/12 (two years ago almost three in Jan 1st!!)
Frisk is the first to be corrupted by the glitch (not really but ppl donāt know what happened to gast and Alphys) and caused a āevilā version of themselves because it was using their soul as a vessel since it was the most compatible, and now theyāre stuck together.
Gaster and Alphys were the ones who were the cause of it to start, they noticed strange glitching on a entity they were testing on, it become alive and looks alike to Frisk. They set the citizens to hide for their safety while they figure out what to do to the impersonation of Frisk. After a couple of weeks, almost a month Gaster and Alphys have everything go back to normal. Another few weeks Timeskip, the entity suddenly starts to spread its glitch/virus around whatās around it and breaks free from the test tube it had been trapped in. Gaster is asleep at his desk with a mess of papers not aware that the entity is free. The āfriskā infects Gast by corrupting his files and then goes to find Alphys to erase from the timeline.
Yadayada Timeskip to basically how CorruptedTale looks like after Frisk becomes apart of the entity.
So, even after the core is taken by "frisk" the au is still there, but the files are all corrupted and messed up so only chunks of CT is there. Like thereās white areas with glitches when u walk at a part of a place that's corrupted but when u get to the unaffected place it's all normal.
So basically half of ruins is corrupted and not and then scratch n paps house isn't. But then snowdin... let's say there's small pieces you can see but it goes away then comes back and it looks like it's floating.
Example, The lab isn't fully affected, just where the entity was at and Gasters desk, but there's small places glitched. Nothing that's too important that's affected but sometimes important papers can be glitched, then back to normal.
The corruption caused an opening for other au sanses (or any ut ocs with teleportation/access to aus. Ex: ink and error) can go into the au, but see how messed up it is and might not wanna stay thinking itās abandoned since thereās glitched out npcs or because of the buildings being destroyed and glitched out as well. It can cause an attraction to others because itās considered a type of an anomaly or interesting to them. But the longer they stay they can become affected slowly, symptoms first are headaches or small glitches/twitching.
This is all I have so far, I might have some errors or words that wonāt make sense but Iāll need to rewrite everything into a notebook and see what I can revise. But thank you for asking! This was really exciting.
