Interrupted seasoning because asthma, but here’s a couple of pictures from day… 2 or 3, not sure. As you can tell, I’ve got a truckload of room in the bottom edge, so I’m thinking this won’t fit flat until it’s closed. Which makes sense since it’s custom etc etc etc that’s kind of the point.

This is my seasoned CS-426 from orchard corset with some little modifications. I needed 3” off of the rib cage because the underbust measurement was 2” larger than my ribcage.

It was a little intimidating to rip this open, but resewing the seams and boning channels was not that hard. Since the binding was stiff and had to come off anyway, I replaced it with bias cut iridescent silk and added appliques over the front panels in the same fabric. I think I may add some flossing between the covered boning channels, but it’s too hard to pick a design right now.

I would recommend the binding replacement, it really lays flat under clothing now and it was super easy sewing.
