Mio was immediately confused, was she recruiting? Couldn’t be, her group was very popular, and very talented, though probably welcome, they wouldn’t need to as they are already stable enough on their own, despite their ultimate result in the Idol contest. Regardless this was going to be an interesting experience all the same.
“Ah, please, come in, have a seat, i’m not quite cure what you mean, but I appreciate that.” Mio was quick to show her in and to the table by the window pulling out a chair for her, politely. Mio knew at least about her school’s record in accomplishment, and knew it was quite far, so coming here must’ve been tiring for her.
“Allow me to get you a drink.” Music notwithstanding, this room was basically a cafe before all else. Without much hesitation she filled a kettle with water and set it brew some tea. Though it might’ve been seen as kissing up to someone you’re a fan of, Mio was just following one of the clubs policies: ‘serve anyone who graces the club room with their presence and do it with a smile’. “If you don’t mind my asking, can you explain to me what you mean by ‘looking for talented singers’?” She was definitely nervous.
Looking around the room, the brunette walked inside, smiling kindly as the other girl was being so polite with her, to then finally sit down on the chair, resting one of her hands on her lap before taking the cup of tea the ravenette offered, letting out a small “thank you”.
Sipping from the cup and closing her eyes for a moment, she started to think about the question the other made to her, chuckling softly after that to then start speaking again.
“Being in the Academy all day can be boring, so it’s not bad if I take some free time to look for people that could be our next rivals, right?” After all, her team never treated other groups as inferior; everybody worked so hard for those contest, so it was always admirable. “Are you part of an Idol group too, Mio-san?”
