tumblr suspended my account out of nowhere. no warning or anything, no reason provided. just tried opening the app and got errors - couldn't log in on desktop. i had to search for my user to find that it was gone, along with my other blog @thisbunnyis

i submitted a support ticket and they never responded to that either. obviously i'm back now (lol) but i'm super uneasy about the complete lack of communication on all fronts of this. my expectations for tumblr's moderation team are already pretty low, but this was pretty bad. i really thought that was just it.

i dont know if this has anything to do with tumblr's recent (and seemingly ongoing) unusual treatment of transfem users (?). i've sorta kept my head out of the platform drama here, but it isn't very promising when i've done nothing explicitly out of line and got booted anyways. i've been posting a lot about my bottom dysphoria lately so maybe i've somehow put a target on myself, and i was mass reported into oblivion. this is all speculation of course, but it's distressing regardless, and chances are i will never receive a clear answer on this.

i'm glad this account is back with everything still in tact, but to be honest i am anxious about becoming so attached to this place knowing that it could very well happen again, and i might not be as lucky the next time. i don't want to let whatever transphobic losers that might be out there win this over me though. chances are i'll just be posting again like normal in like, two or three weeks. but for now i'm going to lay low and keep my fingers crossed.

everything aside, you guys are my biggest (and probably most loyal) audience. my bluesky is sort of my next best thing (tiktok is cool but the concept of a regular audience there is kinda nonexistent) so i'll be there if this place ever pulls me under again.

lettuceplus1 is the artist and author of this comic, ‘dreams’, which blew up a while ago and was met with a lot of love. I couldn’t find a reblog of her original Tumblr post, so I’ve linked the post from her Bluesky acc. She’s opened a support ticket about it but nothing thus far has been done.

Tumblr was the site where she was most active, and the mod team termed her with no warning, no notice. Not even so much as an explanation.
