Life is like a game of chess... every piece has weakness and strengths. Every person does as well. By Learning peoples abilities will help you win the game of life! Hi friends…you know my name, activities, interests, movies, music, education, likes, and reads. What you may not know about me is my drive to succeed and constantly improve things. Born and raised in Hawaii Kai, on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii, I grew up pretty sheltered with no discipline or direction. Life altering experience ONE: My first job was delivering the Honolulu Advertiser to make some money getting paid about $100 bucks a week working 7 days a week for about 25 hours per week. Looking back, working in one of the most wealthiest neighborhood on the island with multi-million dollar mansions enlarged my dreams of what is possible. Life altering experience TWO: I worked part time at Safeway in my blue apron. Until getting the call one day from a Marine recruiter while lying in bed, he asked “what are you doing with your life?” I though deeply about it and came to a conclusion that I was not doing a thing being 19 and working collecting carts and bagging groceries. So I found myself on the bus off to MCRD San Diego, CA. Life altering experience THREE: My son Andrew was born in 2000, the best blessing in the world thus far. Not knowing how to be a father, let alone a great father, I strive to be the best I can be giving Andrew as much direction and wisdom and love possible. Today, He is 9 years old. Andrew is amazing, intelligent, handsome, hands down a dream child which drives me to be better and better each day. Life altering experience FOUR: Back in Hawaii, in the grind, working 40-60 hours a week at Safeway. I found out that one of my employees was retiring! Yet! He has worked 20 years for Safeway and now has the ability to retire. I was excited for him asked “so now what are you going to do?” He replied, “I am going to get a part time job somewhere because I can’t afford to live on what my pension and 401k pays.” It hit me. I put in my letter of resignation and 2 weeks later I was out the door. Why on earth would anyone stay knowing where they will end up in 20 years? FEAR of CHANGE! What do you fear more? Knowing that in 20 years you will not be where you want to be or not knowing what you are going to be doing tomorrow? It is today that makes the difference! What I am spending the time on currently is sticking to my strengths. I do not know where I will end up 20 years from now. I have an idea of where I want to be, but it’s up to GOD inevitably. I currently assist various businesses with overlooked branding and marketing equipping them with the skills and tools they need to convey their message to the world. I have a great team that also plays to their strengths and together work magnificently to get the job done on a daily basis.
