when beth was looking for clones in the police systems, she found sarah there. but when she tried to track her down, she couldn’t find her (because she was MIA doing fuck knows what). but beth obvi saw mrs. s’ address and then quickly discovered that SARAH HAD A CHILD. omg wow. beth knew about kira. beth chose to not bring sarah into clone club for fear of dyad or the assassin finding kira through them. BETH PROTECTOR OF ALL, SAVIOUR OF ALL.
The most trippy thing about “Orphan Black” is that you keep forgetting Tatiana Maslany is playing all of these characters then *boom* it hits.
NO BUT THE NEXT TIME ALISON SEES SARAH
AND THE SCAR BEHIND HER EAR
OH NO WHAT HAVE I DONE
Just FYI Beth hadn’t taught Alison to shoot yet, meaning Beth was spiraling downwards and still took the time to make sure Alison knew how to shoot. Beth had just shot a civilian and was probably a little gun shy, yet she taught Alison to shoot. Maybe she knew what she was going to do, and she wanted to leave Alison prepared, maybe she just wanted to spend time with Alison. Either way, Beth took time out of her life, which was falling apart, and made sure Alison was safe.
Friends: Hey wanna hang out?
Me: no i have plans ssry :(
me:
Head Canon: Paul was always trying to get Beth to do couple’s pottery with him, but she didn’t like it so she sent Alison in her place once.
Shipping characters on Orphan Black can be quite a challenge given that there is a 50% chance they are related somehow and a 90% chance they are both Tatiana Maslany.
Beth knew that Helena was after her so she faked her death and moved to the US to join the CIA’s investigation of the DYAD institute. Now she sends Ali little mementos like headbands, new craft scissors, and Sarah Stubbs, who is a trained CIA operative in charge of keeping Alison safe.
Which clone should you fight?
Sarah (chances of you winning: 5%)
This punk will fuck you up. You press hard, she fights back harder. No matter what you do, you can’t pin her down and you can’t stop her. Your only hope is to blackmail her into submission, and that’s too much effort. Don’t fight Sarah Manning.
Alison (chances of you winning: 0%)
Do not fight this woman under any circumstances. She looks harmless, but she has killed people. She will probably kill you by accident while kicking your ass, then hide your body where no one will find it and sip fine wine over your grave. Don’t fight Alison Hendrix.
Cosima (chances of you winning: 90%)
You can totally win if you don’t give her enough time to science you. But she just wants to be your friend, why would you do that?? Don’t fight Cosima Niehaus.
Helena (chances of you winning: no)
Why the hell would you think that was a good idea? Run away as fast as you can. She will literally kill you. It will not be pretty. Even if you managed to land a hit at a vulnerable moment, it’d be like punching a butterfly and you would be the worst person in the world. Don’t do it. Don’t fight Helena.
Rachel (chances of you winning: 100%)
You’ll probably have three hit men following you the next day, but it’d be worth it to knock the smug look off her face. Do it. You know you want to. Fight Rachel Duncan. I’ll bring pizza.
Tony (chances of you winning: 50%)
His bark is worse than his bite, but he’s still pretty scrappy. Also, he’s being an ass. Go for it. Take your chances. Fight Tony Sawicki.
Beth (chances of you winning: 5%)
Beth is tough, she’ll kick your ass. Unless you can catch her by surprise at the end of a long run, you’re done. Probably don’t fight Beth Childs.
Jennifer (chances of you winning: why?)
What did Jennifer ever do to you? Why do you want to pick a fight with a schoolteacher? Go away. Don’t fight Jennifer Fitzsimmons.
Charlotte (chances of you winning: stop)
You can’t pick a fight with an eight-year-old what is wrong with you
Katja, Aryanna, Danielle, Janika
How are you gonna fight them when you’re in Toronto and you’re not even on the same continent? Get a grip. Go chill with Cosima and stop trying to fight people.
the fact that alison was providing beth with pills and helping her cover with her drug tests at work really puts how hard she took beth’s death into perspective. we always assumed it was loss or a feeling of abandonment that caused her to react so strongly to finding out that beth was dead. but in the end? she felt guilty, too. for helping her pretend that everything was fine, for helping her hide the truth from the people that might have been able to change things, and - ultimately - for not doing more when she knew that something was wrong.
cosima: smokes pot alison: sells pot beth: in a pot
No but I just checked out imdb and the actress who plays Beth will be in all of the third season so either we will be getting some serious flashbacks or Beth is still alive
The Clones as Greek Gods and Goddesses
Sarah as Demeter, Alison as Hestia, Cosima as Apollo, Helena as Artemis, Rachel as Ares
