Here’s Grace’s “Way 2 Deep”…

“We’re talking about summers. We’re talking about vacations. We’re talking about enjoying that free, uhh, I guess kind of it’s the most free season I think out of all the four seasons. And like I said, we’re conditioned at a young age to understand that it’s our freest season because the rest of the three seasons are occupied with education, for the most part.

Uhh, for the last few years I had spent a lot of my 4th of Julys (which, to me, really signifies summer in one holiday) in Hawaii with my significant other at the time. And the mor— last actual 4th of July we went to Hawaii, my recent ex, and we broke up on 4th of July and ended up flying back to Los Angeles ON 4th of July and I remember being in the plane, and I had never experienced 4th of July this way, flying into LAX and seeing fireworks popping everywhere around Los Angeles and just thinking how beautiful this was, with tears streaming down my face thinking about the end of…”

before ya’ll jump on To The Bone (2017) for romanticizing eating disorders in the same way 13rw romanticizes suicide, keep in mind that the film is written and directed by Marti Noxon who based the film on her own personal struggles with eating disorders and stars lily collins who has also been very public about her battles with eating disorders. also the cast (including Keanu Reeves) have been raising awareness about eating disorders since early 2016 (when they began filming). of course you should steer clear of any potentially triggering content if you have an ed, I just wanted to point out that To The Bone has not been composed in the same circumstance as 13rw
