OMG, IM FINALLY TALKING ABOUT MY GUNNTECH OCS!!!
Meet Genevieve! An escapee who escapes GunnTech nine days (escapes before s1) after Luna and Nori. Genevieve Faber (She/Her) is a rebellious, clever, short tempered, yet dependable 16-year-old. She is of Italian heritage, more specifically Roman and currently her only living guardian is her father, Maverick. Her mother, Anissa, used to work for GunnTech. What happened to her mom? Well, I won’t go into detail about it in this post, but I’m sure you can guess. The mutation she has from her implant is one I like to call mimicry. This allows her to mimic pretty much anything. This includes other people's physical features, voices, and even other mutations by just seeing them (or in the case of voices hearing them). Of course, with every overpowered power comes drawbacks. For Genevieve, that would be the fact that she has a very fast metabolism, causing her to have to eat a lot of food to maintain her weight. The other drawback of this is that depending on the category of her mutation, she can only go 5 to 30 minutes before she eventually passes out from exhaustion/overexertion. The hero name given to her by GunnTech is Mirage (she refused to pick her own name) and her suit resembles a mime, which alludes to her implants power. Genevieve HATES GunnTech with a burning passion. The reason for that, I won't reveal in this post as well (sorry 😔), but in the near future I will (most likely in the story I’m writing for my OCs or a backstory post), and it also explains a character dynamic she has with Emily Rivera (another one of my OCs). Genevieve is ambidextrous, an insomniac, highly adaptable, and has a high pain tolerance due to the test she endured from GunnTech. Despite this, Genevieve still has a crippling fear of needles to the point where she will most likely hyperventilate if she sees one, if not pass out. Some other random facts about her is how she’s an ambivert, can be impulsive at times, likes to plant doubt about GunnTech into other people’s heads (mainly younger recruits) and may or may not be a raging lesbian.

Meet Gemma! An escapee who also escapes GunnTech nine days (escapes before s1) after Luna and Nori. Gemma Eze (She/Her) is a responsible, diplomatic, stubborn, and calm 14-year-old Nigerian. Her current guardian is her aunt (on mom’s side), Chima Nwadike, as Gemma’s parents are currently in hiding from GunnTech (used to work for the company). Her implant allows her power over plants and plant cells. Also due to her Implant, her hair is now a hybrid of plant cells and regular hair cells (why it's green). This caused GunnTech to hold most of her experiments in areas of light since nutrients, water, any kind of light, or really anything that causes a plant to grow, would cause her hair to grow (she wears a black Yankees cap to prevent this as much as she can). The hero name Gemma decided for herself was Fern, which is also referenced in her suit design. Gemma has since resented GunnTech after her aunt told her the truth of why her parents have been absent from her life since she was young. Due to the hair-plant hybrid thing Gemma has on her head, Gemma is anemic and has low iron because hair only allows her body enough nutrients to keep her alive. This has also caused Gemma to be quite underweight, so she’s never been the strongest fighter. Some fun facts about Gemma is that she participates in ballet, is introverted, her mutation has caused her to be easily weakened by the cold (weaker immune system), and when she gets sick, her hair turns brown reminiscent of a dying plant (specifically in the winter). Some other fun facts about Gemma is that she’s a good healer, she can release hormones/certain smells (both lethal and non-lethal) on command, can use airborne chemicals as a way of detection, and can sense the environment around her. Gemma is highly adaptable, physically sensitive and hates physical touch in most situations. She will “hibernate” if she becomes too cold, and when too cold, her body also becomes very brittle like a plant in the winter time (poor girl 🥺🥺🥺).
