“Ah so, you’re powerful enough to lift my person… impressive without the use of Gravity Beams.”

Okay. Ouch. She needs to stop now. The headache is starting to get to her and she has no choice but to carefully set him back down. Gloved hands immediately go to her forehead to try and sooth things. That’ll be with her for a while no doubt.

‘ I was trained by an incredibly powerful entity. The less said about it the better but...possessing such power does have its benefits. ’ She’s just going to be rubbing her head for a while now.

Nodding both to signal her understanding of the answer, and as a more subtle way of ending her own curiosity, Ava then takes to looking around as they walk. A little bit of sightseeing and losing herself in the area wouldn’t be bad now, considering that she trusted Vendra enough to not let her wander off course. 

Pausing before she fully walks in to the shop, the Vengess glances around to make sure that there aren’t any immediate dangers before heading in fully. “Thanks, by the way.” 

The witch did keep an eye upon the girl as they walked. The streets were generally busy and it was easy to get lost if you were not careful. Thankfully such a thing didn’t happen!

‘ You’re welcome. ’

Golden eyes look over the menu before pinpointing the specific meal she’d want. Vendra was particularly hungry so why not go for a double stacked zurglon meat sandwich with extra cheese? Maybe with a side of fries to go along with it.

Goji pondered about it before nodding in agreement.

“Very well, feel free to demonstrate.”

The witch was delighted when he agreed. Vendra knew just how to show it too! Through Goji himself. It’d take a lot of energy and would probably result in a constant headache afterwards but Vendra considered it to be worth it to impress such a powerful entity.

Vendra went silent as she focused all of her psychic energy onto Goji. All that was granted and obtained throughout her many years and she focused on uplifting him from the ground. It wouldn’t be by much. Just enough for him to feel it. But the fact that she was powerful enough to even touch a giant monster? That was truly otherworldly.

Oh, she can already feel the headache settling in. The witch grits her teeth as she lets the control linger just for a bit longer.

{  You know who Vendra is terrified of? It’s not Mr. Eye despite his grand power and size. Of all the people in the universe there’s no one who can scare her more than Ratchet. Vendra will cloud herself in an aura of confidence and power but the second Ratchet is actually serious with fighting her? She’ll run away as fast as she can. }

It should have made sense to him before, of course she were just finessing her skills by levitating those rocks. Akin to how battle kept his own combat skills in check.

A faint smile manages to come about onto her pale features because of it. It shouldn’t have been that humorous and yet for some reason it was. A thought soon came to her mind as she looked up towards him. 

‘ Y’know, I wouldn’t mind flexing and showing you just how strong my abilities are. I’m certain even you would be impressed. ’ Uh oh. She’s got that confident smirk on her face.

“Still curious about this planet I’m going to take a guess, considering you’re investigating stones.”

‘ Investigating stones? ’ The witch manages to give a light chuckle at that. ‘ It’s more so practicing with them really. I need to keep my mental strength up. ’

How amusing that he thought she was investigating them.

There was this ‘space witch’ again. They had encountered one another recently on reasonably good terms. This time, it was the lizard who was curious about what exactly she was up to.

“You levitating those rocks?”

‘ Why yes, yes I am. ’ 

Vendra boasted as she levitated herself up towards him. The boulders were carefully placed back down onto the ground as her attention fully diverted to the giant monster.

‘ Despite my small size I possess quite a large amount of psychic energy. I use it to move countless objects including myself. ’

Ah, there’s nothing more relaxing than enjoying the quiet and focusing ones power. Her legs were crossed as she hovered gently in the air. The witch was focused on levitating quite a few boulders in a motion. It was good to keep her mental strength in check. Of course she was alarmed as she heard footsteps approaching. Her mind was a little eased as she saw the same monster from before. What a pleasant surprise!

      The witch never realized just how heavy people were when she had to physically drag them around. It would be a complete breeze with her powers but alas it would not be wise to use them right now. So here she was dragging some poor unconscious schmuck further into the forested areas. At least then Vendra could carry him with her psychic energy as the tall trees blocked their images.

‘ I’m going...to be out of breath! Ugh. ’

“What do I suggest..?” The hero thinks for a moment, furrowing her brows. “Well, I-I don’t really do anything too exciting to vent, so I don’t know if any of my ideas would be all that great..I-I mean, I just do things like gardening and painting, I have never done anything destruction-wise..” She taps her fingers together. “Have you tried tossing explosive things in a clear area? I-I mean, uhm..maybe get targets that aren’t people? I don’t know, I’m not the best at this stuff..”  

A small nod, as long as Vendra was comfortable, Captain didn’t mind all that much with continuing the conversation.

“I suppose you are right..”

        ‘ Those aren’t terrible ideas. I do like to keep my hands busy. ’ 

Most of the time she would work on blueprints or machinery parts if she had the spare time. Vendra used to draw back in her childhood but now it’s mostly restricted for designing and figuring out the schematics for her inventions. A brow raises at the question.

       ‘ Oh I’ve done that before but that’s merely for testing. ’

She’d go through plenty of practice dummies before utilizing her weapons on actual living people. That’s what made it exciting. What was just a target became a living and breathing opponent that reacted. It made the successful kill all the better.

It was true, there really was no other machine like him in the universe, and curiously enough Zurg had never bothered trying to create another energy vampire. Then again, the evil emperor had never been one to try the same plot twice.

At Vendra’s observation, he gave a soft chuckle as his face settled into a prideful smirk. “That’s only one of my many convenient features, my peculiar little alien.”

Not that he’s particularly inclined to go into detail with someone he’d just met, someone who is highly likely to be some sort of intergalactic evil-doer, considering where they were. Still, it’s not often one sees a new intergalactic evil-doer enter the scene. “Your name?”

Well he certainly radiated a degree of confidence, didn’t he? Not that Vendra could blame him or anything. The witch was known for her own flare of confidence. How could she not though when with just a few simple thoughts she could override an entire starship to her command? 

‘ Vendra. ’ She might as well be courteous towards the robotic being for now. After all he hasn’t displayed any hostile intentions as of yet. ‘ Though I am more accurately called the Space Witch. ’

Gloved fingers flicked upwards and a few items around them started to hover just above the ground. It was more or less a means of showing why she was called that.
