Xion had a tendency to wear a hood, especially when alone. It was a safety measure to a point. Even with a hood up, it was easy to distinguish her girlish figure.
She turned suddenly when her shoulder was tapped. It wasn’t every day that someone came to call her attention. “Hello…” she spoke softly yet caution was in her tone. She had no idea who this woman was. Looking around, Xion checked her surroundings. It was getting late but Xion didn’t feel the need to rush home or have a buddy. Slowly ,she shook her head.
“I’m not with anyone but I’ve been out late before. Nothing bad has happened to me.”
Rosalina frowned. She hated seeing kids alone out at night. However, she didn’t want to come off as the one actually trying to cause the girl harm. It did look odd for a random woman to approach a child out of nowhere.
“Does your parent or guardian know where you are?” She wasn’t meaning to pry. Since she couldn’t have a child herself, however, she felt the need to act like a mother to almost every kid she encountered.
“I-I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be, er, creepy... I don’t like seeing kids alone in the dark. It’s the mother in me.”
