In about an hour we will have finished the first 96 hours, and then I'll stop trying to count the hours because boy that is hard.Yesterday I talked a bit about Daemons, and today I want to jump from a race that is still paying for the bad things they did in the past to a race who made a massive turnaround in their public image. Goblins. Goblins have been, for most of history, just a plight on the world. Mass murdering, angry, and always at war with anyone they can find, themselves especially, the old world Goblin tribes were endlessly fighting for territory, but never good at determining quite where that territory began or ended.The old world tribes still exist, but they are far fewer in number. This is all thanks to the now God of Artifice, Ather of Clan Wartongue. Their awakening to a better option for Goblins began the Goblin Enlightenment. Now Goblins fill the great Violet City, trying new forms of engineering and engaging in all kinds of fields of study. History is now written down, and civil matters taken care of in courts. The change was sudden and wide-spread among many. For Goblins, becoming high society has been a drastic life change. For most, it means taking on what other races view as fancy. Nice clothing (ill fit for Goblin proportions), fancy talking (ill fit for Goblin mouths), and quaint homes (ill fit for Goblin tempers). Still, they have made incredible strides to become a better influence on the world, rather than merely the butt of the world's jokes.While few have given it much thought, Goblins changing in this way dramatically changes how the future of the world may grow. Goblins are hardy. Their second skin of mold allows them to survive on the symbiotic photosynthesis and just a bit of water each day. Their large brood numbers and mono-sexed race allow them to regrow their populace in little time with just two of their species. For the longest time, Goblins were stuck behind in an increasingly globalized world.
