Bonalu (Telugu: బోనాలు ) is a Hindu folk festival of the south Indian state of Telangana, dedicated to the goddess Mahakali. The festival is celebrated to ward off evil and usher in peace and harmony. It is celebrated with aplomb in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

The Ghatam is a copper pot decorated to represent the Goddess. The Ghatam is carried through the city in a large parade, usually accompanied by drums and dancers.
