montgomery scott, a highly intelligent and skilled engineer who rose through the ranks in the empire the same as everyone else - murder - he performed well in the academy & took a keen interest in disciplinary punishment & weaponising punishment, using his own brains to create the AGONY BOOTH, a device used upon the ISS ENTERPRISE to exact punishment, a device that is capable of targeting the victim’s central nervous system & sending it into shock.
Currently the chief engineer upon the ISS ENTERPRISE , he is known for his sadistically cruel behaviour - taking great pleasure in the torment and continual torture of those who dare defy the empire or those engineer’s who simply displease the CHIEF.
he NEVER was reprimanded or stripped of his academy results due to the fact his first subject in the agony booth was ADMIRAL ARCHER. he was played aboard the ISS ENTERPRISE after graduating a year earlier then KIRK & the crew. eventually he murdered his CEO & took his place.
one of his favourite methods of torture is body modification , so much so that he devised a way ( for the more permanent punishments ) to engineer the ship through people them becoming a PERMANENT part of the ship forever.
scotty became ADDICTED to his body modification - so much so he built robotic an entire robotic arm from the shoulder to hand for himself & replaced his own , & has interest in replacing other body parts to become “ ONE WITH THE ENTERPRISE. ”
he replaced his left eye & ear with modified robotic ones. he in build cybernetic capabilities to link with the ISS ENTERPRISE computer. which has allowed him unsanctioned access to crew files , to performance issues with the enterprise & his replacements IF he met his untimely demise ( which he murdered shortly after downloading. )
while he has devised MANY contingency plans on how to dispose of the captain , he has never attempted to exact any of them.
he does not drink , nor does he have any forms of addictions in this verse - besides his addiction to becoming “ one with the ship. ” - while he enjoys cigarettes he is NOT addicted to them.
he believes he has much more of an ownership of the ship & a right to it, then any of the crew.
he is attempting to currently remove his own ability to need sleep.
when replacing his body parts, he often seeks the medical advice of MCCOY to aid in the surgeries at the price of him keeping the scraps.
appears to be LOYAL to the captain , though if the right opportunity presented itself he would rid himself of MOST of the senior officers including CAPTAIN KIRK.
***** notes: after uploading himself into the mainframe of the ISS ENTERPRISE & downloading the files on ALL SENIOR STAFF , he gains access to the security system - including the cameras. not long after. CAPTAIN KIRK, tweaks with his override settings keeping him permanently connected to the mainframe remotely which he cannot disconnect from due to a CAPTAIN’S OVERRIDE CODE. forcing his unwavering loyalty. unfortunately for the CHIEF engineer & the rest of the crew , anything he sees / thinks / or feels captain kirk knows about. turning him into a glorified GUARD DOG.
****** the connection to the ship wasn’t just MENTAL , it was also physical. by uploading himself into the computer he forced a unwilling cybernetic connection between him & the ship. anything the ship feels , he feels in turn. often causing the engineer to have fits of rage down in the engineering bays , due to pain caused to the ship during battles. if the ship were to be destroyed. he in turn would be destroyed.
