i’m skimming thu episodes for my “spock is gay” video and sometimes i forget just how wild spock’s quarters are

his sleeping area has:

A gargoyle-like shrine that holds a glowing, purple light

At least three weapons - not mounted to anything in particular 

a giant-ass red curtain that covers at least two walls AND the shelf of his bed frame 

a black and gold coverlet, for when he’s too lazy to take his boots off 

but then he has like… his no-nonsense Nerd Area:

3D Chess board

a giant molecular model (which may or may not also be a stim toy)

his tricorder

his computer (obvs)

ship-grey walls

quite literally the duality of man, and a visual representation of how spock compartmentalizes aspects of his identity. vulcan/human, goth/scientist, emotional/logical.
