Is it werid I want to be pretentious. I want to be like crazy intelligent and boast about all the classic novels I read and all the classical music I listen to. I want to go to art museums and stare at one painting for 30 minutes and pick apart each detail to the strokes of the brush or color scheme, while I have my old Sony cassette headphones connected to my iPhone to look even more like a hipster. I want to go to a local coffee shop and read pride and prejudice to with my long coat on and a turtle neck while I drink just black coffee (which I absolutely hate ☹️ I have to have sugar and cream or else I’ll cry ) I want to listen to podcasts about serial killers and classical literature. I want to get into philosophy and talk to my friend who have no idea wtf I’m talking about but still go on anyway to seee like I’m crazy smart. I want to know every painting, every artists, every statue, ever author, and every composer so when brought up I can talk their head off. I want to go to the opera by myself (or some other pretentious friends) I also want to keep a journal full of all my ideas, poems, films, and whatever I’m reading or listening to. Basically this is my aesthetic 💀 and uh yeah that was a werid rant
as the colder months approach: i wish you all a healthy, calm end of the year. i wish you tasty cups of tea, comfortable clothes, warm beds, nutritious meals in safe homes, good music, new friends and unwavering health. you deserve good things now.
A few things that helped me 🌸
♡ If you feel overwhelmed, maybe it’s better to not plan so far ahead. it puts unnecessary pressure on yourself. Focus on what you can do in the next ten minutes or hour instead. One thing at a time. You still have time.
♡ Listen to what you need. If you can’t study and feel restless, don’t study for now. Maybe you need a break, like a walk or something relaxing first. Balance is more important than sticking to a strict schedule and putting unrealistic expectations on yourself.
♡ If you try to force yourself to do things and it’s not working, maybe a kinder approach suits you more. Treat yourself the way you treat others. Give yourself the kindness you freely give to your friends or loved ones.
♡ The most important things to prioritize are being calm and managing your mental health, drinking water, sleep, eating well and exercise. Everything else comes second. Not taking care of yourself can lead to burnout.
♡ If you don’t feel well, it means you have a need that’s not being met. Maybe you need comfort, to feel loved or cared for, to feel like you’re good at something, or to start over. Listen closely to what you need and find a healthy way to manage it. For every harmful coping mechanism there is one that will make you feel better, not worse.
♡ Have faith in yourself. Maybe there’s no proof yet that you’ll succeed, it doesn’t mean you will fail. Be confident in your abilities and trust that good things come out of working hard. Speak good things into existence and work for them. Don’t wait for people to believe in you; believe in yourself first.
♡ Write a letter to your future self, congratulating yourself on reaching your dreams and making it through when you thought you couldn’t.
♡ Don’t stay inside your head or phone for too long if you tend to have negative thoughts. Do things that make you feel good about yourself, not things that only fill emptiness. Turn off your phone for a few hours every day if you can. Do things that keep you in the present.
♡ Remember that a lot of anxiety comes from fear of judgement. Other people’s judgements and opinions are not important. It’s your life and you can live it to your fullest. What’s important is that you’re happy and doing well. Focus on yourself, people that make you feel warm, and things you’re looking forward to.

little ways to change your life:
learn how to write a new style of handwriting. try wearing your hair or makeup differently. find a new perfume you like.
do things for yourself, not for the validation of others. resist the temptation to post everything online.
start doing something you usually can't be bothered to do. like making your bed, folding everything neatly, stretching every hour, going on jogs, making a healthy meal from scratch or sleeping earlier.
make your surroundings as cozy and as pleasing for you to look at as possible.
bake delicious but sometimes deformed pastries. write things that no one "gets". wear clothes and hairstyles that make u happy. crotchet a sock badly. draw a picture that won't be aesthetic on instagram. let go of the perfect image of who you need to be. do things for yourself.
be messy. self-expression isn't always pretty. scribble messily in a notebook. draw messily an idea for a character. write a messy draft for a story.
learn your thing from scratch, whether it's astronomy, greek mythology, flower species, piano, japanese, making jam, drawing comics, or something completely different.
let yourself fully enjoy everyday things like food, commute, and your morning routines. slow down and notice every single thing that makes you feel nice.
appreciate nature, like the sunlight streaming through in the morning, the sound of rain, and the colors of sunsets.
notice the deeper meanings and emotions in songs, poetry and paintings.
let people in. give new loves and friendships a chance. initiate conversations when you want.
read as much as you can. read different genres, popular and unpopular books, classics and new releases. give every book that catches your eye a chance.
enjoy your solitude like you're a character in a movie. if you can, go out for walks alone. visit the park to look at dogs, a café to people-watch, or a library to spend the afternoon buried in a book. bring a journal everywhere with you, and write poetry and quotes and doodles.
collect little things, like vinyls, pretty rocks and shells, stuffed animals, whatever makes you happy.
find a sport you like. pretend you're a superhero. dance like no one's watching. swim like you're a mermaid. exercise is supposed to be fun, so find one that you like.
make self care a priority. this includes taking your meds on time, starting to study for a test after procrastinating for weeks, deleting things that trigger negative emotions, and knowing when to let go and ask for help.
distance yourself from sources of negativity. learn to be ok on your own. know your worth and boundaries.
let go of the past. forgive yourself for the things you regret and start again.
let go of old relationships. there's a difference between missing someone and wanting them back in your life.
let go of your need to be perfect. it does more harm than good.
never compare yourself. it will always feel like a losing battle, no matter how amazing you really are.
keep in touch with people you don't speak to much. even a message can brighten someone's day.
be kind to everyone you meet, even strangers. if someone makes you happy, make them happier. compliment often, and be less judgemental. give someone a smile, you never know how much it means to them.
wake up earlier in the morning. wake up with the sun and fall asleep with the moon.
if you want to be calmer and more productive, remove things on your phone and social media apps that you don't need. (which is most of them).
make a list of qualities in the person you dream of becoming. write about your ideal life with what you have. make goals to be the happiest and healthiest version of yourself.
don't suppress your emotions, but don't overthink them either. have a kinder relationship with your body and your thoughts.
don't be afraid to ask for help, whether it's a teacher, therapist, friend, doctor or parent.
remember that healing and loving yourself is just starting over and over. it's not too late. you're still young and you can move and grow at your own pace. your peak is yet to come.
Another Sigil Tutorial
Hello everyone! So I had a lot of questions about my other sigil posts and decided to post another method to making sigils. This is another one of my favorites to use! I just really like the way these turn out. I call this the constellation method!
Step 1: Get your Phrase
For this tutorial I'm using the phrase "Protect this place"
Step 2: Take Out Repeating Letters
So any repeating letters you have take them out! *Side note: this step doesn't matter too much because of the method which you will see in a minute but it helps confusion*
"Protect this place" becomes "protechisla"
Step 3: Making Dots
Remember this chart?
So grab this chart and just ignore your numbers. Take what is left of your phrase for us "protechisla" and make dots on all of the letters you see. It should come out looking something like this:
So now we've got our "stars" for our "constelation". Take out the chart and you should be left with an assortment of dots like this:
Step 4: Connecting the Dots
So we have this random assortment of dots and now you get to be creative and connect them however you see fit. Play around until you have something you like. This is what mine looked like after some playing around with different arrangements:
Step 5: Make it a "Constellation"
This is what mine looked like when I was finished.
This is a wonderful method for those who are still in the "broom closet" because they just look like super cute little doodles or constellations. It's a super easy method. Just remember DON'T OVERTHINK ANYTHING!!!!! Make this your own sigil. Follow the method but also do whatever feels right! And most important! Stay safe and have fun with it!!!!!
🍀 🍄A summary of the Sabbats 🍄🍀
When I was a baby witch, it was really difficult for me to understand the Sabbats and the wheel of the year. To help all my baby witches, I made a short summary to make it easier.
🎄 Yule (Date: on the winter solstice, dec. 20-23) 🎄
This is the Sabbat for celebrating rebirth. Many people celebrate it similarly to Christmas, with gift giving, feasting, and wreath making. People will often kiss a consenting partner under a sprig of mistletoe for good luck.
🐏 Imbolc (Date: feb. 2) 🐏
This Sabbat celebrates the return of spring. People make corn dollies and set them in a basket next to a symbol of masculinity. Many Witches will clean out their homes during Imbolc.
🐣 Ostara (Date: on the vernal equinox, Mar. 20-23) 🐣
This Sabbat celebrates the coming time of fertility. Egg decorating is common during this time.
🔥 Beltane (Date: May 1) 🔥
This Sabbat focuses on fertility. Many Pagans choose to conceive children at this time (or just to enjoy themselves sexually with a partner). Beltane festivals are often high energy, with plenty of dancing and bonfires.
☀️ Litha (Date: on the summer solstice, Jun 20-23) ☀️
A Sabbat for celebrating the longest day of the year, as well as for mourning the shortening days after. Some Witches burn bonfires or light candles to represent the Sun.
🌾 Lughnasadh (Date: Aug 1 -> 1 day before my birthday!) 🌾
I love this Sabbat but I’m not able to pronounce this name :). This is the first of the three harvesting Sabbats. There are festivals of grain and bread. People make gingerbread men during this time.
🍁 Mabon (Date: on the autumnal equinox, sep. 20-23) 🍁
This is the second of the three harvesting Sabbats. Witches give thanks to the Earth and the harvest. Celebraters will make and drink wine at this time.
⛄️ Samhain (Date: nov. 1) ⛄️
This is the last of the three harvesting Sabbats. It is also the festival of the dead. The veil is at its thinnest at this time. Witches will sometimes hold a big feast during Samhain.

I literally just saw someone on the internet say that “fairies are always safe to work with since they’re rooted purely in light and peace” and I had a visceral flashback to coming home late one night when I was younger, crying, shaking, and afraid, after I inadvertently crossed the Faerie during the course of a ritual I was undertaking. My mom held me while I wept and helped me calm back down, because I was so agitated that I was rambling about “quitting” magic forever. Thankfully, she sat me down that night and gave me my first serious talking to about the Faerie and explained how dangerous and arrogant it was to underestimate those forces if you planned on sincerely entreating them. In essence, she made it as clear as she could that I was a wide-eyed kid playing with something I didn’t understand and wasn’t ready for (I was only 14.) And she was absolutely right.
So, my point in saying all this is basically to give a simple, but vital, piece of advice :
Do not underestimate the Faerie.
If you think of them as fantasy, you’re not ready. If you think they’re benevolent “light and love” creatures, you’re not ready. If you think you can dominate them, you’re not ready. If you’re not willing and prepared to go through both physical and psychic suffering in the course of your work, you’re not ready. And that’s okay. Take the time to build your efficacy, deepen your understanding, and develope a healthy sense of prudence before you rush into something you’re ill prepared for.
I’m not saying this to “gatekeep” or put others down, and I’m definitely not trying to espouse some mystical superiority on my part, as I’ve had to make plenty of my own mistakes in my 20 years of practice to even begin scraping the surface of what it means to practice magic. I just wanted to give back some of the wisdom that I was fortunate enough to receive when my enthusiasm and hunger for knowledge drove me to recklessness.
Magic isn’t a race or a contest, so be patient and do yourself the favor of taking yourself and your craft as seriously as is deserved.
This. All of this. My unseelie ass agrees with everything above.
