Great question. Let me attempt this, Last year, there was a Vidcon livestream. This livestream had a chat. This chat came together with a mutual love for the awesomeness of what was the Vidcon couch. You see, this couch was quite exciting. Many wonderful people got to sit on it. Many wonderful things got to happen on it. Many wonderful pieces of glitter got to be dumped on it (Which may or may not've had something to do with the livesteam chat >.>). So, we came up with a couch-themed community in honour of this couch. This community was declared as "Couchfighters" and kind of just spread from there.
