I started this journey when I was eleven and now I'm 24 (this blog is a decade old this year!!), and so much has changed - I'll soon graduate as a Parks and Recreational professional with a minor in Biology, I'm married, and I have the cutest dog. TAYLOR RELEASING A SURPRISE ALBUM ON MY BIRTHDAY MIGHT BE THE GREATEST THING TO EVER HAPPEN TO ME EVER!!!!!! I have been SO sad, wanting to just not celebrate at all, and then THIS. I had friends let me down, I realized I don’t really have anyone there for me, and I have just been feeling really left out lately and I was just dreading having to spend a birthday sad, lonely, left out, and forgotten, on top of in a pandemic. Which I know sounds dramatic, but since I was fifteen my family has not cared about my birthday because it was travel softball season, so I always woke up home alone with no one there and did nothing. SO that feeling continues into adulthood and it really does hurt my feelings a lot more than it probably should. But then Taylor!!!! Announces a brand new album!!! Coming out on MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! And I just LOST IT. “People haven’t always been there for me, but music always has” has never been more true!!! Even when the people I care the most about let me down, I can ALWAYS count on her and her music. I am so, so excited. I can’t believe this. What a turnaround. What a day. I am so thankful for this girl who has been making my life better for f o u r t e e n years. I will never get over her. She has done more for me than anyone else and I haven’t even ever met her. I still hope that ONE DAY I will get that chance, but for now, I am so, so grateful to have her and her music in my life. She’s been the support I needed, and I don’t know if I’d be here today without her. @taylorswift, I love you more than anything else in this world. Thank you. Thank you for everything, but especially, thank you for this.

I logged on at 2:30 and did everything instantly and was still 2,000+ in line and honestly it’s been like this my whole life the only reason I saw fearless was because my uncle had comp tickets for whatever he wanted because his company sponsored the arena or something, only reason I saw red (before the pit sale thing which i also saw BLESS wish she’d do that again) and 1989 was because my aunt has a disability and was able to get handicap tickets which didn’t sell out like regular tickets because I tried so hard every damn tour this is just my life and only the red tour pit and rep tour worked out for me why does this SUCK SO MUCH
