A reminder...
Just because Liam and Cheryl MIGHT be ending, does not mean that Liam’s babygate is necessarily ending also. People are acting like Liam is getting out of this right here and now and I just don’t think that is a reality. Remember Louis and Brianna never even officially dated.

That Liam would post that tweet about paps “stalking” him RIGHT after that video came out of Louis obviously staging a pap stroll. Hmmmm...
Hours after watching Simon during 1d day, I am continuing to be struck by his casual cruelty. He was harsh to the dog (nearly shaking it an one point), dismissive towards his son (joking about naming him after his dogs/himself), and rude to the pregnant mother of his child (no acknowledgement except to indicate when she should leave). Within the first thirty seconds of speaking he managed to bring up each member’s self described insecurities. Mentioning “I had believed you’d all make it as solo artists” is a sting to Liam (who had already failed at that) and especially to Louis and Niall both of whom did not receive equal solo time in any song up to this point. He then immediately references Zayn and dancing, clearly just to torment him. Not to mention all the deliberate dismissal of anything Harry says (remember how he’s the ‘slow’ one). He demonstrated no compassion, no empathy and no humanity. In summation, Simon Cowell is a hateful dick and I will celebrate his demise.

While he has mostly good things to say, Paul Potts still describes Simon Cowell as “scary”. Shayne Ward describes working with Cowell as “He signs off everything; every track, every picture; it all comes from Simon.” Cher Lloyd believes Simon “…found me - I wouldn’t say disobedient - but a little bit [difficult]. I have a specific thing I am reaching for, so I have my own idea of how I’m going to get it.” This creepy ass Sun article about a previous BGT winner who got dropped by Simon after his first single flopped. At the end, the author I’m assuming is Dan Wooton says: “Don’t make an enemy of Simon. You need him more than he needs you.”
I’m thinking about Zayn’s injured hand. The way things are, if Zayn punches somebody in the face, i would almost feel sorry for the person, lol. Except for Simon, Mcgee, Griffiths (the list is long, unfortunately). But my opinion is, when everything is too much to handle it, he goes and punch a wall (or whatever) to send a message.

louis tomlinson: absolutely you should fight him. it’ll be great. you’ll win. motherfucker’ll shriek like a howler monkey and insult every member of your family in the process, but it’ll all be while hiding directly behind burlier, liam-ier people. if you can corner him, just grasp his arms against his body and start gently rocking him like a baby until he’s lulled. “what the fuck,” he’ll ask disgustedly, but his eyes are already drooping. “shh,” you tell him soothingly. “go to sleep, little baby.” he does. you win.
harry styles: you should fight him, because no one on god’s green earth is angling for a good old fashioned smackaround like this big-mouthed doe-eyed slack-jawed better-hair-than-you-having motherfucker, but you won’t. this is everything that’s wrong with the world. none of us who so desperately need to fight harry styles in the street can ever manage to do it, because of his like, fucking dimples or whatever. try not to make direct eye contact with him if you do end up giving it a shot, because that’s how he gets you, like some daymare st. laurent wearing gorgon.
niall horan: sure, go for it. you’ll lose, because his betoothpick-legged frame probably contains a secret maniacal frenzy just waiting to be loosed, but whatever, give it a shot. afterwards maybe try and fight a kitten and the sun too. see how that makes you feel, fucko. you make me sick.
liam payne: if you fight liam it has to be in a pre-arranged, regulated 12-round boxing ring with very strict rules and procedures and a referee interceding to make sure no one hits below the belt, not that liam ever would, and anyway, you’ll lose. no one feels good about it. you feel bad for losing and liam feels bad for winning and probably offers to drive you home afterward, which you begrudgingly accept, because your loss still smarts, and you both spend the drive in an uncomfortable silence. no one enjoys this fight. no winners.
zayn malik: anyone who would even theoretically consider inflicting damage upon his carved-from-marble face is committing thought crime. go directly to jail and stay there.

The part that’s really unsettling to me is how Zayn insinuated that he’s felt like he didn’t belong from the START. Which means that there was always this slight doubt coupled with fake enthusiasm to make up for it and he was possibly trying to convince himself that he’d get there, that one day he’d feel like this was the spot for him, and that never happened. I’ve been in that situation so many times, where I’ve found myself putting on a smile and trying to make myself believe that something is the right choice for me only because I don’t want to let anyone down and I feel guilty about speaking up since I don’t want others to feel like I’m ungrateful or unappreciative but it’s seriously mentally destructive and it starts making you trust yourself less and can lead to a terrible level of self-hate. (In my case it even led to serious depression and suicidal thoughts.) Your internal monologue is just constantly “Why can’t I enjoy this? It can’t be that bad, right? I can MAKE myself settle for this….fuck, I can’t. This is awful. I’m awful. I’m letting everyone down. Everyone is going to hate me.” This more than anything clarifies how much Zayn’s departure was for his mental health and how it might’ve been a self-centered thing to do but it was the RIGHT thing to do regardless because he knew how much stress he was putting himself in.
i hate it that people play ‘we don’t know the whole story’ card when things don’t suit their book but the more painful thing is that - the thing which suits this fandom’s book is when zayn is portrayed as the bad guy. You were sure you knew the whole story when zayn was accused of breaking up with perrie over a text. You were sure you knew the whole story when zaughty fought. You were sure you knew the whole story when the media/the boys said zayn distanced himself from the rest and that he’s an ungrateful fuckboy. The more painful thing is that you can’t accept a story in which zayn is the innocent one. You wanna know more, wanna know ‘the whole story’ because the possibility of zayn being the good guy irritates you. That’s all.
This is silly, because I’m silly. Also, this sucks, ‘cause I got lazy.

So yall would rather have Zayn still be in 1d and fake it until he has a mental breakdown from stress and not being able to do what he truly wants to instead of him actually leaving and starting his solo career with his own personal style of music that is way different from 1d’s and actually being happy because he is finally free to be creative and actually showcase it without being rejected to do so. Did yall even like Zayn from the start then???
