Sam worked with us last year and performed with a musician who is linked to Platforma Arts network, Lucky Moyo. Sam, Lucky and Lucky's colleague Kenny Mengena ended up on BBC1's Andrew Marr show, on the morning of CSL.

In one of Beirut's best kitchens, refugee chefs preserve culinary traditions as a lifeline to home.

āMaÅa little Flower,ā was inspired by Irena Gut Opdyke who was a Polish Catholic girl (b. 1922), who not only saved the lives of twelve Jews by hiding them in the basement of an SS officerās house, but also became an effective resistance fighter with the Polish Partisans, with code name āMaÅaā meaning ālittleā in Polish. This song is dedicated to the memory of her fiancĆ© Janek Ridel (pseudonym āMercedes Benzā), who was killed in action the day before their wedding in May 1944.'

"No One Owns The Land is the first collaboration between artist-makers Ester Svensson and Rosanna Martin, whose practices span ideas of travel, restlessness, identity and belonging in the context of ceramics and illustration. Made primarily from ceramic and glass, as well as thread, wire, sand, stones, glass wax, inks, soap, shower gel, nail varnish, paint, plaster and wood, the sculptural installation in the basement of The Regency Town House weaves together narratives of journeys and migrations, to create a sense of place and the imagined land, often an unattainable dream."
