Obviously it’s just a coincidence since “Blink” is one of the most popular episodes in the series, but I think it’s great that the episode that the Whovians chose as their favorite is the one where the Doctor is only able to communicate with the other characters through a tv.

It's The Master. That's the big bad of Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor. Because it's always The Master. It will always be The Master. Davies' being playful with Tennant, saying that every Doctor went through a bi-generation... The Master is going to turn out to be the Doctor's other half. David Tennant will come back at the end of this season as The Master. The old woman who breaks the 4th wall in every episode this season and last season is a red herring. She's a harbinger of The Master.
