I haven't read the Tale of Genji yet because I can't get my hands on it where I am though.

i know this is really old OP but the translations for the tale of genji are available on project gutenberg (you might want to check if there are legal grey areas in your country with the site if that's something you're worried about)

if you can read japanese, it's available on aozora bunko!!

if you want to read heian poetry you can read a lot of it on wakapoetry.net (with translations!!)

(the heian era was one of my favourite periods while i was studying in uni!!! always happy to talk about it)
