The odd presence caught his attention, and a few silent steps took him to the outcropping where the other figure seemed to be hiding.
His expression softened somewhat at the sight of her, and he gave a grunt as he met her stare. “What are you doing here?” She obviously wasn’t human, but she looked near enough to one. “And what are you?”
Oh no she had been spotted! How did he just found out about her that easily? She was so convinced that she would be safe on her own this time yet the other stopped right in front of the spirit without batting an eye. Red eyes gazed at the frightened girl who raised both hands in front of her mouth, probably to pretend herself from letting a slight squeal escape her throat.
