"T-thank you Lavi" Krory beams at hs friend pulling him into a tight hug. Just being in Lavi’s company was the best present he could ask for

"Welcome back Krory-san" Ellie smiled gently. Apparently she was coming from botanical garden or the Headquarters. There was a neatly bunched moderate stack of lavender sprigs, her gardening shears were protruding out of the front pocket of her working apron. "I hope mission went well."

"It w-went very well Miss Ellie" Krory returns the smile, noticing the lavender in his friend's hand. He loved flowers and the gardens, spending most his his free time there "I see you have been busy too...uh has the Camelia c-come into bloom yet? it hadn't when I left"

Jen waits patiently for Krory to try a few spoonfuls before continuing to eat, always trying to be a polite and patient woman, and smiles softly upon hearing his enjoyment of the desert.

"I’m glad you like it, Krory, you can have as much as you’d like!

Feeling as though she’d waited long enough, she digs in, smiling at each new flavour combination, being sure to try each flavour of ice cream with each desert to find out what goes best together. After a particularly delicious combination, she scoops them onto her spoon again and holds it up to Krory.

"Here, try this, it’s rather amazing," she chimes out, nearly singing the line.

Dapping his messy mouth with a napkin, Krory obidiantly takes the spoonful of ice cream offered to him, closeing his eyes as he savours each differant taste. Jen was right, it was amazing!

When done he opens his eyes again, beaming back at his friends, eyes sparkling. Never in his life has he experienced such pleasures. Some might say they were not important but to Krory every new experience was just as meaningful as the last. Sharing ice cream with one of his best friends was one of them

"I'm s-so happy!" he nearly swoons, then Krory being Krory, starts to cry, sniffling and snuffling into his napkin "I like ice cream so m-much..." he blubs

She blushed a bit, hearing the giggle from her new acquaintance had made her a little embarrassed but she enjoyed it, maybe she had made a new friend? “Thank you Krory.” She smiled before following him over to the table, their food being set out soon after.

"It looks like I really eat a lot compared to you…." She mumbled before catching a whiff of his meal, it not smelling how it looked. " Um Krory? What exactly are you eating?" She wondered aloud, covering her mouth afterwards for fear that she offended him.

"Don't worry Miss Emily, eat what you like" Krory smiles back "As I said before, there are one or t-two exorcists here with a very similar appetite. It is hungry w-work, I would say"

The romanian scoops a spoonful of his own meal into his mouth, sighing with pleasure as the blood slid down his throat, no one would ever understand how delicious it was and how much he needed it, He still blushes at her question, looking down at his bowl and avoiding her gaze

"It's t-tomato soup, Miss Emily" the lie comes easily but he he still ashamed to decieve his new friend "It is a special recipe that J-Jerry makes, how is your meal?"

Best to change the subject before any more questions are asked.
