Sometimes you gotta make yourself drink water and sit in direct sunlight, like some kind of wilted houseplant

First you procrastinate on the task because it is not a big enough deal to get done urgently. Then you procrastinate on the task because it has become such a big deal that doing it is overwhelming. You would think that this implies a middle point where it is just big enough of a deal to get done easily, however the inherent perversity of the universe's causal geometry prevents this
What's the best work-appropriate "fun fact" about me?
I photographed a cook book once
My face is on a handful of fiction novel covers
The spelling of my name was picked by my sister based on looking the prettiest
As a teen, I changed my handwriting to match Edward's from Twilight
None of these, here's a better idea....

Ralph Fleck (German, 1951), Stapel 27/VII [Stack 27/VII], 2013. Oil on canvas, 120 x 100 cm.
Those who think that wisdom and whimsy are mutually exclusive have neither. It's vitally important to do the right thing when the consequences are dire, and to do a whole bunch of utterly frivolous silly dumb shit when it doesn't matter what you do.
Often, the wise thing must be disguised as silly frivolous dumb shit in order to actually work
so I joined my new job, and while I'm still a bit sad to leave the education space behind, I'm so happy to be back in a techy company (even with all the AI stuff, which frankly, you cannot escape working in tech) and it's so nice to feel like I'm surrounded by smart energetic people. And bonus, I still feel aligned with the product because it's helping people in healthcare and we neeeeed that bby.
there's art inside me trying to get out
I miss the way you say my name The way you bend, the way you break
I started out taking self portraits today and really really hating them and not recognizing myself. I'm so happy I was able to turn that around in the end.
