i went and saw the backrooms movie and it was ok. i swear EVERY new movie these days starts out really strong and then falls apart in the third act. whereas a lot of older movies start out "boring" in order to earn a satisfying ending. it's getting really repetitive, i'll feel excited for the first 30-60min and then witness it fall on its face every time.
