           “so…dad wants to come visit,” he sounds pretty neutral despite himself, but his back is turned to his sister while he has both hands in the sink. dinner and catching up was nice, but the youngest arc kept one specific topic quiet until his sister was full and sipping a good red wine. 

           “he hasn’t seen me since ren and i moved here. and he kind of….doesn’t? know about…us.” the scrubbing stops, turning over his shoulder then to peer at jacqueline, “will you come? and…if you do, will you promise not to fight with him?”

“i make no promises.” she huffed the mere mention of their dad was a tightened grip on a gun, seeing him would be the trigger. “look, i can try, but the minute he says anything even remotely upsetting to you or your partner, i’m throwing him down a well. you’ve gotten along just fine with out his help what’s a bit longer.” she took a sip of her wine to cool down her emotions, just red in the face with anger. “i’m still surprised you actually believe in love..after being around mom and dad, like really..”

She spits up a bunch of flower petals, thinking of her old flings, it made her sick. “love’s a fucking lie, like why do people think it’s real.” she said spitting out more rose petals it was nasty; why did she have so many in her mouth anyways?

ROSE   LIPS   PURSED,   less in response to jackie’s vulgar vocabulary but to the idea that she’d have to summon the courage to say something similar. she didn’t particularly want to leave jeanne and father on a bad note, she knew it would upset momma. however, she was aware that any attempt to leave permanently would put her under fire from their father. he was protective to a fault, too protective, too oppressive, too suffocating. he’d brought up the idea casually, while talking to jenny years ago, and when he had overheard had been met with a speech which basically said   ‶ someone like you will have trouble out there, on your own. ‶   she had no idea whether he’d been talking about her impairment, or her personality. all she knew was that she wanted to leave.

*   i appreciate it sis. i’ve got a friend i’m staying with. he was an exchange student here during school. i think i’ll be fine. i … i’ve actually been holding this off, but i want to check on jaune. he said his team would be arriving there soon.   *

“i’ve actually got a mission out there soon, so i’ll probably see you soon julie, and if you need help to leave, i’m here for you just tell me what you want me to tell that dickweed and i’ll call him, and you don’t have to be so profane like i was, after all harsh language has always been joho and i’s thing.” even if she was younger than juliet she was protective, as soon as she heard about the boy she started signing a bit quicker. “oooh a boy, tell me everything do you like him? are you and him a thing does he know sign?” jackie giggled, juliet getting a guy friend seemed very unlikely when they were younger but here she is. “i can’t believe my sis is growing up~”

‵   i’m saving up to move to mistral.   ‵   that was an understatement, just shy of ordering a plane ticket, she was already prepared. it had always been her dream to surround herself with the arts, with theatre and music. she loved her family dearly, but there was very little to keep her creative spirit thriving here.   ‵   when you moved to vacuo, how did you tell father   ?   ‵   @courageousarc

“well i could be blunt or give you the more polite version.” she smiled at her phone, it’d been awhile since they last spoke so her signing was a little rust thank god for keyboards right? “politely i said; i’m leaving don’t call, don’t text and you and jeanne can just go right back where you came from, the actual way i said it however was more along the lines of; you can take your ladylike; and shove it up your ass you and your ‘princess’ both never fucking contact me.” she chuckled realizing how aggressive her hands ended up being. “if you need help i can lend you some lien, i’ve been getting a bit from my work here and there.”

she’d been watching her scroll for almost eight months now, waiting for some sort of news from her little brother, or family about jaune, while they didn’t have one of the closest relationships. it still worried her to not have any form of communication, with him. “shit..” she muttered under her breath, throwing herself back into her bed and curling up tight her communication device right next to her. 

“jaune, please be okay..” she blamed herself for this, she helped nudge him in this life after all, and without any form of training, it made her sick to her stomach. sending out another text the 100th one over all and the 9th one this week to him. [ if you’re okay, please tell me, i’m scared witless, and i’m just worried. please respond when you can. ]
