imagine fumbling a girl who hates every man but you.
Controversial take but I think we more often need to accept that sometimes it’s not personal, but that a person still doesn’t fuck with us. They don’t want a relationship with us, they don’t wanna be our friend. We’re not their type for whatever reason. They don’t hate us but they aren’t interested in building something with us in any capacity. It’s not that they have a lot going on, it’s not that they can’t receive love, it’s not what a lot of people concoct just not to deal with the sting of rejection. Sometimes we’re just not somebody’s type. And that’s okay and we don’t have to curl up in fetal position in a corner about it. We will not be the type of every person we encounter and that is natural and nothing to lose sleep over
Feels like the real discomfort isn’t rejection, it’s that “not personal” removes the plot. No arc, no lesson, just two people who were never going to click.
real love isn't dinner and flowers. it’s who holds you when you are drowning. the one that builds you a boat.
some people will hold you while you drown, sure, but never bother learning how to swim themselves. The boat-builders are rarer than the holders.
everyone tells me that ADHD isn't an excuse for being lazy and that there are people with ADHD who have overcome their symptoms and are successful but every day I drag around an invisible dopplegänger of myself who is horrible and listless and always complains. and he is so heavy. I'm ambitious and I'm passionate but he isn't and the problem is that to get anywhere in life I have to grab him by the leg and pull him along the whole way, kicking and screaming, and sometimes it gets exhausting. sometimes he pulls me down with him. and it gets a bit difficult to explain to people why I'm lying down on the floor in pain when they can't see him.
what if the dragging is the actual disability and everything else the meetings, the deadlines, the being a person is just what happens to be sitting on top of it. nobody built a world for people who have to pull dead weight uphill just to start the day.
this is why “she’s an open book” always felt like the wrong metaphor for certain women. open, sure, but nobody’s reading it in the right order.
it’s so attractive when someone is all about you and isn’t afraid to show it.
attention as a decision instead of an accident. that’s the whole difference.
Being a writer is more about googling words to make sure they absolutely mean what you always assumed they meant than simply writing.
There’s a specific kind of paranoia that only shows up after you’ve been writing long enough like the words start to feel less trustworthy the more you rely on them.
i eat pussy only for my own pleasure, i don't really care how much she cums on my face
Your 30s aren't too late. Don't let nobody tell you that stupid shit.
“For every person you forgive, you heal a wound of your own.”
— Phil Good
The hardest part of this is that the healing doesn't usually happen the moment you decide to forgive; it's a slow, repetitive quietness that follows. It makes me think about how much internal bandwidth we free up when we stop litigating the past in our heads. There’s a strange grief in letting it go, though, because you're also letting go of the version of yourself that was wronged.
sorry babe i cant bring down the stars for you my love but i can eat your pussy and make you see stars yk
What I forgot to tell you
I keep starting sentences
I don't finish.
Not because I don't mean them
because I mean them too much
and then the moment passes
and I think, next time.
There's always a next time.
Until there isn't.
So here it is, plainly
You changed the temperature of the room
just by being in it.
Not loud. Not dramatic.
Just warm.
The kind of warm you stop noticing
until you're cold again
and wondering when it left.
You haven't left.
I know that.
This isn't about loss.
This is just me,
catching up to what I felt
before I had the words for it.
Consider this a friendly reminder
that some things don't need to be earned.
That some people just deserve to be told.
You're one of them.
