outside of my photography career, my husband and i own a beauty & lifestyle company called hand in hand soap. for every product purchased, hand in hand donates a bar of soap and provides a month of clean water to children in need in haiti. to read more click here.
going to haiti for our soap drops and opening of water wells is a huge highlight in my life & my career -- considering it is the foundation for hand in hand's creation.
a huge part of my heart belongs to haiti and its people and i thought i would take a moment in the beginning of this new year to share our most recent visit to haiti, as we gear up for our next soap drop in the next couple months.

one of my favorite kinds of food on earth: dim sum
when i heard that the guys from cheu noodle bar (see previous post here) were opening up a dim sum spot, i couldn’t contain my excitement! at bing bing, the food is so inventive and playful -- definitely not your traditional dim sum, but that is what makes it so great! the menu changes frequently, but my favorite dish so far has been the turnip cake (not picutred but it’s a must-try).

anthology magazine: our philadelphia story
shooting for anthology is incredible, but shooting "our philadelphia story" for anthology magazine was an actual dream of mine.
walking through philadelphia with the ladies of the magazine was so much fun & if i was to be completely honest, it never felt like work.
here are a few selects & outtakes from the shoot. as you can see, when i'm in charge of the philadelphia tour, the majority of landmarks are food destinations.
