The Cleveland Cavaliers hand the Warriors just their 11th loss of the season of a 42 point 11 rebound and 5 assist performance from LeBron James. LeBron wins the MVP matchup against Steph Curry who was was held to just 18 points on 5-17 shooting. The Cavs remain the hottest team in the league winning 18 of their last 20. They now find themselves ranked third in the eastern conference, just a loss behind the raptors for 2nd place.

The Cavs put on quite the show in their 38 point thrashing over the Wizards. LeBron (28 points 5 rebounds and 6 assists) and Kyrie Irving (25 points 7 assists) lead the way as the Cavs improve to 4th in the east and have now won 15 of their last 17 games.

The Detroit Pistons get the W against the Chicago Bulls 100-91. Andre Drummond had a monster game pitching in 18 points and 20 rebounds

The Raptors grounded the Hawks in a 105-80 win off impressive performances from Demar (21 points 8 rebounds) Derozan and Lou Williams (26 points). The 8 day all star break may have been beneficial for the Raptors but clearly it took some of the wind out of the Hawks' sails who were on an absolute tear before the all-star break.

The 2015 NBA Trade Deadline was one of the busiest deadlines in NBA history. A crazy amount of trades occurred in the last 15 minutes before the 3pm deadline and a lot of them were unexpected. Kevin Garnett is on his way back to Minnesota where it all started in exchange for Thaddeus Young. Goran Dragic was traded to the Miami Heat as part of a three team deal that sends Danny Granger and two first round picks to Phoenix, Norris Cole and Shawn Williams to New Orleans and John Salmons to the Suns. The Suns also traded Isaiah Thomas to the Boston Celtics for Marcus Thorton and a first round draft pick. Reggie Jackson was acquired by the Detroit Pistons in a three team deal that sent Enes Kanter, Kyle Singler, Dj Augustin and Steve Novak to OKC and Kendrick Perkins to the Utah Jazz. The Suns acquired Brandon Knight in a three team deal that sent Michael Carter-Williams, Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee to the Milwaukee Bucks and the Sixers acquired multiple draft picks. The Denver Nuggets traded Aaron Afflalo and Alonzo Gee to the Portland Trailblazers for Thomas Robinson, Will Barton, Victor Claver and draft picks. The Nuggets also traded Javale McGee to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for the draft right to Cenk Akyol. The Sacramento Kings Deal Ramon Sessions to the Wizards for Andre Miller. This was a hectic trade deadline that is bound to change up the standings in both conferences and create many new story lines for the second half of the NBA season. Which team made the best moves?
