      arnie’s english is self-taught , most of it learnt through written media / their gameboy . a large chunk of their vocabulary is from textual context only , meaning they’ve never actually heard the word out loud / learnt how to correctly  pronounce  it . here  are  some  examples  of  words  that they’ve  never  encountered  in  actual  spoken dialogue , nd have proceeded to decide on their pronunciation as they’ve seen fit .

arkansas is ar-kansas wallet but pronounced like ballet  lyrics are ly-riks  whack-a-mole but clumped together like guacamole  chipotle pronounced like aristotle sheep is cheap  three or tree ? who knows , both . tree threes ? three trees ? tree trees ?

     quick note :      1 ) rupert can talk , he’s just a firm believer in not doing shit that attracts attention in public       2 ) under the read-more because i got wordy ahjdskfglh what’s up here’s my ted talk .

WHAT’S UP MY DUDES, rupert hasn't always been a dog. as opposed to arnie he has a normal life span, but because of his connection w/ armonde he's reborn with his memories from prior lives intact. basically, he'll live the expected lifespan of ( for example ) a dog, nd then he'll pass away only to be reborn as smth else,  returning to armonde's side after having been born again.

rupert was a hyacinth macaw parrot for the first 73 years of armonde's life, and after he died of old age he was reborn as a giant poodle. because the familiars are born with vivid memories of their prior lives, they have no struggle with reuniting with their other half no matter where they’ve happened to end up after their rebirth. however, should the familiar not return to their respective witch (for whatever reason, in rupert and arnie’s case i can personally list about 23 reasons why hajdskf) the connection will begin to grow thinner. if they were to pass away while the connection is thin (from either physical or emotional distance) they would not survive the rebirth, permanently severing the bond and ending the cycle.
