I was thinking, what was a way I could say I'm pro BLM, I support lgbtq+, and welcome everyone. Even if you have a difference of opinion, I'll treat you as my equal.

I just saw this meme... And umm, I don't know if you took history or not, but the whites who didn't want slaves won that war. Or at least that's what I remember learning, and guess what!? Most everyone agrees that things can get better. Don't be fooled we all appreciate our neighbors, Black/African Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, or White Americans... And do you know why we're, or at least, I'm on your side? Because look at that, we're all God damn Americans and to have pride in our country is to have pride in all of us. Things will change, it may take time, but hey we're already a hell of a lot better than we were 20 years ago. Oh, and to those who aren't Americans, do you know what we all are? HUMAN, we are the human race and I have pride in that as well. If we can go to space, we can stop being rude to each other.
Anyone else noticed that the nation isn't really divided? I try to stay neutral in what I believe, and as such I read things posted by both the left and the right, and it seems to me that we all agree on the vast majority of things. The only thing I've noticed it some news sources, both left and right biased, post non-factual information. As such I would suggest following news companies that are biased in both ways and compare them to more accurate information, such as .edu and .gov sources. Maybe you too will come to realize how much is opinion and how much is fact in today's misleading world.
People joked about how there would be radio active spiders or flying sharks in June, but instead we've all gone so mad we're attacking our own people. We're starting fires, and attacking the innocent.. I'm not pleased with my fellow Americans, where'd our respect for our neighbors go?
I live in Utah, where a cop car was turned on it's side by "peaceful" protesters. How is that peaceful? You attacked a freaking officer who had NOTHING to do with the murder in Minneapolis! If this is how all of your are going to act don't tell me to check my privilege check your own damn privilege! These violent protests and the murder are 100% not ok!
Oh and if you haven't heard the cop who killed that poor man is in jail awaiting trial, which I'm sure he'll see a conviction. Show you'll be part of the solution and not part of the problem people, please, for the love of God and for the betterment of our country be kind to your neighbor.
If you think it's alright that people are burning buildings, steeling items from stores, causing businesses to shut down over anything, even someone's death you need to reevaluate.
People work for the police who had nothing to do with the death, people at target had nothing to do with that death.. now you are hurting more lives than should be hurt. You are causing people to be sent home without pay, causing them to miss that $40 to fill up gas or the $100 for their childrens meals. Those numbers may be small, but to some they mean a lot. If you're ok with the riot or the murder you need to learn to see the wrong in everything.
Mmmk so I've been browsing the web. I've seen these posts about stopping rent, which the business side of me disagrees with.
When you sign a lease it is a contract between you and the landlord or rental company, I would imagine the government couldn't step in and alter the agreement made. If this were the case it could be anarchy... It would mean that I could buy, say an iPhone and perhaps I drop the phone and crack it, completely my fault; however I get the government on my side, even without the phone being under warranty the government forces apple to replace my phone.
DISCLAIMER: that does not mean I don't like the idea of rent being put on hold or forgiven entirely, I just think the imperfect world we're in shouldn't or won't allow it.
