Robyn had just finished work for the day and had a whole box of marking to take home with her. The older kids in her class had been learning some basic spelling and arithmetic, so she had a nice pile of homework to go through in her free time. Some teachers refused to take their work home with them, but she wasnโt one of those teachers.
Carrying a fairly large box in her hands, she navigated the school gate with only a little difficulty. It was when she reached her car that she had a problem. In an impressive feat of clumsiness, Robyn managed to drop her car keys on the floor, accidentally kick them underneath the vehicle when she tried to shuffle over to pick them up, and then tipped some of her workbooks out of the box and on to the ground.ย โAh fuck.โ She said rather loudly, then realised where she was and immediately mentally cursed herself because there still could have been kids around.
Aleksander was just buckling his kids up in their seats when he noticed the girl having a hard time. Of course, Aleksander never gave up the chance to help someone in need. It was just in his nature to help anyone and everyone. So he made sure the windows were down as he closed the car doors and told the kids to stay inside, which he knew they would. Thank fuck for them being fairly obedient.ย
He soon hurried towards the woman with a gentle smile.ย โHey, lemme get that, okay?โ He reached down, managing to grab the keys (With a little bit of a struggle) within a few moments. After, he picked up the workbooks that had spilled out from the box, handing them back to the woman.ย โMust have been a hard, stressful day for ya, huh?โ He chuckle, deciding to break the ice just a little bit.ย
